  • Jazzypeggy: I'm so sorry for your loss. We just lost my grandfather over thanksgiving, it was very sad to lose him, he is such a wonderful man, but at least he is not in pain anymore. That is definitely something to be thankful for. I hope you and your family are able to spend time together, my thoughts are with you.

A bit aggravated today... I weighed in at 191 this morning! I haven't seen the 190s in almost 2 weeks. I have seriously upped my exercise, but it's been two days since I did an intense strength workout (p90x yoga, they don't mess around that workout it is insane!) and I have continued with cardio the last 2 days for 45 minutes. I'm not as sore today though so I was hoping for a whoosh, but unfortunately I've whooshed up instead! I know the scale is not the best measuring tool overall, but it still messes with my head when it does this. I've been working so hard I just want to see some pay off I guess. I have to keep reminding myself to be patient.
  • OP yesterday and did good on water. Also did my C25K workout.

232.0 this morning.....down again and I hope it keeps going that way!
  • JazzyPeggy: Terrific to see you back here. Take care of yourself. That's a sharper loss, I imagine, for a care-giving daughter than for those of us who had some distance from the process at the end.

I am honestly surprised how quickly the holiday weight came off. I'm already below my 2014 low by half a pound. I certainly won't complain if I meet my goal early lol
