MissyKrissy I do love Indian, but I always order the same thing - Palak Paneer haha. It's so good, and I kid myself into thinking its slightly healthier due to all the spinach. Thanks for the encouragement on the pounds and the luck for the Canada forms, appreciated!! Well done for sticking within calorie range and including your treats! Sometimes I'm bad and I'll eat a couple of candies or something and not count. Not often, but occasionally. Hope the bridesmaid dress ordering went smoothly!!
Riestrella Yay shopping, hope you found some cool stuff, I love furniture shopping/homewares almost as much as clothes! Go you with the salads, sounds awesome. As does that cajun chicken thing, I might have to try it! Thanks for the luck re Canada. I'll only be there temporarily (as temporarily as 4-6 years is...) but still, I really want it to work out.
sun A tattoo is a cool reward for reaching a certain weight, will you get something specifically designed for you?
Kawaii I guess because it's been so up and down it hasn't really felt like I've been losing at all haha. But yeah, I guess 4kg isn't nothing. And I am so not tiny haha. Stupid being short has me still looking rather chubby, and definitely overweight. Yay shopping! Hope you got some awesome stuff, I'm so jealous I want to shop so badly haha but I'm in super saving mode so trying not to buy any non-essentials! You are doing so well with your no scale thing, keep it up!
PinkHurricane Indian was really good, I really enjoyed it (as well as my leftovers yesterday!). My boyfriend has been accepted to do his PhD in Vancouver so he's applying for the study permit and I'm applying for an open work permit so I can go with him since he'll be there 4-6 years! Homemade pesto sounds incredible!
~Hey guys! I've been enjoying my weekend, maybe a bit too much foodwise - but at least I have made all of my choices consciously - I swear everyday there is a new challenge and something new to learn!
Indian dinner on Friday was so delicious, and then we went to a party. I took two bottles of (alcoholic) cider with me and only drank one of them, across a few hours - such control, I felt so good! It meant I could drive home (which I did pretty early) and then still get up for my run yesterday morning without feeling gross!
So Saturday was my run in the morning and then lunch with my cousin - I ate a quesadilla (not the whole thing) and a few fries and then went out with my sister and had a single scoop of icecream (no cone). God, shopping was hard because I SO want to buy new things. I found some pants I really wanted - but I didn't even try them on because I didn't want the temptation of paying! I only tried on one dress because the galaxy print fabric was amazing - and I guess in a way I'm kind of glad it didn't look great on me because if it did, that would be $100 gone!
Dinner choice wasn't so great - we went out to get a slice of new york style pizza, but I had two slices and two garlic knots. I need to remember for next time that ONE slice is plenty!! I was too full. Then we just watched a movie and I had another early night.
I'm at my parents house at the moment, getting some washing done - weather is way to unpredictable for me to put it on the line at my place. Probably just relax for the rest of the day.
Oh, and weight was only up a couple hundred grams this morning, so the food choices hopefully haven't made too much difference - I really think it's the less alcohol that is affecting things this weekend!

Do you run everyday??
We got matching tattoos on our feet, and I think they turned out quite nicely. When we came back home, my DH called us Thelma and Louise and just shook his head and chuckled at us.
and my first day back on plan. I am so excited to say in the 2 or 3 months that I've been gone I only gained 4 pounds back, probably just water weight. I can't wait to catch up with everyone again!
