  • good morning all, third day on IP doing ok was really feeling munchy yesterday but kept telling myself that is not something i want to start doing.
felt pretty lethargic too. I have gotten outside already this morning trying to stay busy and not sit around today.
    how was everyones wet saturday?

  • Hooray me!

After a REALLY rocky 2 weeks of not staying on plan (while I had family in from both coasts to celebrate my son's HS graduation & vacationed on the Oregon Coast - actually gained 2 lbs - when I had NEVER gained anything on IP since starting in January) I have been ON PLAN since Thursday! I am in ketosis again, the headaches are gone, and I am looking forward to staying strong...getting to Onederland is my next goal!

I am documenting everything I eat & drink...and remembering that NOTHING tastes as good as healthy feels!

Happy Sunday all. I made it out to ride horses with my daughter yesterday and now it's time for weeding - my least fav part of my gardens.
  • Though I live in Renton, I go to a clinic in Seattle because all the clinics in the South King County area would either:

Has anyone else experienced the above? Also, what sort of qualities do you look for in a coach? Are you happy with whom you have?

(I've only had my initial consultation, but so far I like my coach and everyone else I've interacted with at the clinic)

Well like I said I'm going to a gal in the Kent area. So far so good. She is my 2nd coach... She has also done IP herself. She's the only coach in that office. So you won't contradicting info... Which is nice
          • Quote: Yup. The big one. Right at the end of 18... In the dressing isle...

No. I'm not going to Linda... I didn't like how they make you do those tape things. And she's way more spendy in my eyes... I'm going to a clinic in downtowish.... It's off of Washington sorta by kmart.
Yea, she is expensive. I'm not doing the tapes at her office, I have them at home. Would you mind giving me the name of the one downtown, I'd like to see what they have to offer as it is getting pretty expensive for me....thanks! I went to the Walmart in Fed. Way and found the dressings, got the Thousand Island for my Big Mac in a Bowl, and also got the bacon ranch, haven't tried it yet. They were only $2.79 compared to over 4.00 at Fred Meyer, Albertsons also has some WF dressings, they have a new Gluten Free section, pretty meager at this point though.

Does she charge for weigh ins? And does she charge the initial consultation fee? I think I would like to check it out.

Her name is Peggy. Her # is 253.350.7235. That's her direct line for IP. Also open for texting... She was pretty standard with pricing... But doesnt force you into all the extras that Lindas office wanted you to do... And she was super up beat... Very enjoyable.

Thanks, I'm going to call her tomorrow..

You totally should so. i was reading your last post. No she does not charge for weigh ins. Nor a consultation fee... Just let her know that you are not new to IP. And that you are switchin clinics...
          • Jellymae, I like you updated photo!
          • Whew... I have been behind on posting on this thread this weekend.... I am officially on week 4 now and my coach may have to change. I was sick last week and couldn't make it in to the appointment and she didn't even care.... I may have to check out the one in the K. Valley since I work down in the valley. My current coach seems to be not caring or understanding when a financial stumbling block comes into play.... I don't know.
          • Doing Ok this morning but I'm a bit hungry so had a piece of sugerfree gum seemed to help a little, can we have gum? I'm waiting on lunch-omelet, fresh veggies, and salad. yum

          • Headache
            Thanks Tigerlvr!!!

Good luck in your first week, don't forget when your head hurts you should lick the back of your hand put some sea salt on it and drink a glass of water. Rinse and repeat..... the headache will go away.
