Angel that dress was beautiful. You are going to have a wonderful day. Italy sounds so cool. The wedding reception I just went to. My friend got married in Italy and then honeymooned over there. It looked really pretty!

Hope everyone is doing well. Trying to enjoy the nice weather while it was here. My dh said after work yesterday some co-workers and he had a water fight in our back yard. They are always doing that kind of stuff. He said the day before this girl threw a whole cup of water on him. Of course he wasn't thinking that both dk's had just been sick. IMO it was not that warm outside. Just glad I wasn't here ! My ds was asking if he could get me wet today! I said no way! LOL!

Well weigh in for TOPs is tommorrow. I should have some kind of a loss. Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi all. Beth a water fight sounds so good right about now. It is suppose to be near 80 here today and I have to work. Got on the scales today and they still are the same. I finally got to workout this morning and I am hoping that this will help me. The other choice was to gnaw off a arm or something. Here's to a great day to everyone!

Just popping in to say Hi! i am going to try and sneak a nap in before work! It seems like such a shame with the nice weather and all. But dd is sleeping so I can't go outside anyway!

Well I lost 2.75 lbs this week. The older ladies in my group are so funny. I really think they believe I am starving myself. I was feeling a little light headed because I had forgotten to eat breakfast. Usually on TOPS days I take yogurt or something with. Anyway we sometimes go for coffee afterward at Mcdonald's. I had to order something they made sure I ate every last bite! I couldn't disappoint them I guess!

Sandy - Dont chew off your arm - you may need it to slap your husband/boyfriend in the back of the head whenever he says something stupid which will happen because he is a guy and they cant help themselves...

ok next major fiasco was averted tonight.... checked on our airline reservations for our trip to italy that we have had booked since January.... apparently they downsized the plane and moved our seats.... only they had keith and i sitting seperately... when we called they said oh we forgot it was your honeymoon... and well we cant do anything.... Keith went through 4 people before they finally realized that since it was our honeymoon and all that we may want ot sit together... I swear where is customer service these days.....

Anyway, I am off to make the flower girls basket.....

Thank you so much Dance4Joy.... I am starting to get excited but then i also am ready to have it over so I can have my normal life back and not have to think about what am I forgeting....

I have made the flower girls basket and the basket to put the candles in to give away and I have to admit that they are really turning out beautiful.... I havent made baskets in a long time and am wondering why I quit making them.... my neighbors are all freaking out and wanting me to make them some.... I will try to get some pictures of them and will put them somewhere where you can see them...

I have been busy at work and havent really been working out this week all that steady.... although I am not beating myself up over it this month.... I have given myself a 'relax pass' until after the wedding...

How is everyone else doing.... Have you been talking nicely to yourself?????

Hi all. Glad that you are givin yourself a relaxation break until after the wedding you need it Angel. When you are talking about making baskets are you talking about weaving them from the ground up so to speak? It must ge great to be that creative. Done really fantasic this week until yesterday evening. The stress of work(1 person to do it all was gettin to me) got under my skin so bad that the next thing that I knew I already had a pint of chocolate ice cream eating it....then it was done. I know that I shouldnt have but what's done is done. Was goin to workout this morning but I had to go and get my mother and show here where ds's t-ball game was goin to be played at today and that took so much of what little free time I have left before work. So I have decided that tonight I will do my ab workout. The gym will be there Monday morning. So how is everyone else doing so far???? Almost time for work so I must be gettin with the program and get a move on.

Sandy - dont beat yourself up about the icecream - its gone and today is a new day - we all have those days - the goal is to make sure the time between those days gets longer and longer.....

As for the baskets- no i dont hand weave them.... would love to I just dont have time.... no I paint them and cover them with different fabrics and laces and flowers and all... they turn out very soft, feminine, and pretty....

How is everyone else doing????? Me, I have good days and then bad days and I know that this is ok.... I have the free pass for this month.....

Hi everyone! Angel I was wondering if after your hyst did you have pain in your hips. My right one hurts so much that there are days that it hurts to walk. I think that I have a pinhed nerve as a result of the surgery. I got over the ice cream rather fast as a matter of fact I bought dh some ice cream home this evening and haven't thought about eating it. Just checking to see if everyone had a wonderufl weekend.

Hey Sandy,

I didnt have pain in the hips but I had alot in my pelvic bone area. Mine went away.... and it wasnt constant just shots of pain every now and then....

Where is everyone????? We are missing you!!!!

I havent been doing too much right now but I am still here.... Work has been crazy and wont be getting any better in the near future.

I am off to work now.

I have been really busy trying to get ready for vacation this week! Not to mention I am babysitting for twins today. They are keeping me on my toes! I am leaving Thurs but will try and post tommorrow. I have to wash clothes and pack and such.

I am doing okay here. Bought the 3 mile tape for vacation. I know I won't have time to exercise everyday so I thought the days I did I would at least get in 3 miles. I am worried about all the eating and car food that is going to be going on but I am not going to let myself stress about it.

Angel I think its great that you are taking it easy this month. YOur mental health definately comes first! Those baskets sound beautiful.

I have to run the babies are tearing up magazines!

Keith was diagonosed today with borderline diabetes.... he has a long family history on both sides so we are going to have to deal with..... I want to catch it before it gets bad so I am off to study up.....

Hi everyone! Beth hope that you have a wonderful vacation. Get out and enjoy, don't stress over the food. Look at it this way you have earned it. Just try to take it all in moderation.

Angel, I hope that you are able to learn all that you need to know to help Keith. I had gestional diabetes but I was lucky cause as soon as you give birth it goes away. The down side is that it puts you at a higher risk for later on in life. I too have a family history of diabetes. One thing that I have learned along the way is to watch the carbs. It has a direct effect on the sugar levels. Is he just goin to be able to watch his diet for now or what? A dietation(sp) can be very helpful right now. I had to go to one while I had the gestional and she helped me so much. I learned what I could eat and what times I could eat. Needless to say I must have done too good with it cause I was always runnin high until I got it all figured out and then there were days that I was too low. Remember that grapes are one of the worse things that he can eat(or at least this is what I was told). Good luck.

Doing good with the workouts. So far this week I have been able to get in a workout eveyday. Maybe the scale will love me come Thurs. Off to get ds up for school. Here's to a BLESSED DAY to all.

Hey All!!!!

Keith is taking a small dose pill for right now for his diabetes.... but the doc thinks he will be able to come off it in a month or so... doc thinks the stress of the wedding could have increased it also.... it is amazing what stress can do.... I have been trying to get him to go to the gym with me and he always wants to go at night and then never goes.... so I convinced him to get up in the monring with me and go.... today he did... YEAH!!!!! He always wants to leave for work early to miss traffic but I told him it doesnt do him any good... we live in Atlanta there is always traffic... also he gets to work @ 6:45 for what??? He doesnt leave early.... I told him to go to the gym with me in the morning and workout for an hour and he would be at work by 8 or 8:30 and that this would help his stress alot.... he agreed to. He also needs to lose about 20-30#'s to get to around 200# he wants to get to 180# which is where he was in high school... I have seen those pictures he was way to thin!!!! The doctor told him he didnt care what the scale said Keith's problem is where he carries his weight.... all in the stomach... apple shaped which I guess is the most unhealthy.... The weird thing about this is that he hasnt had any sodas at all since ash wed.... so he hasnt near the amount of sugar that he used to....

Anyway, I am off to the shower.... My workout today was 30 minutes of cardio, upper body circuit training, and 10 minutes stretching...
