Actually, we used to build fantastic houses for them out in the barn. (our teacher-parents had a hobby farm. damned cow.) I think that's the only reason we enjoyed it. We never actually PLAYED barbies, we were simply their architects. 
I only had one "real" barbie. So naturally my daughter had approximately 40.
We just threw out the game Life. It was falling apart. Careers is good, too.
