Default Great Bread

Nature's Own brand is fantastic. They have "wheat n fiber" bread that is one pt per slice. They also have "white wheat" hot dog and hamburger buns that are one pt each. If that brand is available, I highly recommend it

Default Sandwiches

Thanks for the bread info. I'm going to try to bring more sandwiches to work for lunch when school starts in the fall, I think. I have been bringing the WW Smart Ones each day, and while I enjoy having something hot, the sodium is pretty high in them.

Default WW Smart Ones

I think I read a discussion earlier this spring on this board about them. Some posters liked them for portion control, but others avoided them. That's when I got to thinking of making a change. I'm usually starving by noon, though, and often I'm tempted to splurge by eating school lunch. Talk about getting too much sodium and starch!

I have found some microwaveable dinners by Hormel. They don't have to be frozen/refrigerated (so you know they are loaded with preservatives) but they are only 6 points and so easy. I only have 30 min. for lunch and sometimes it's just easier to grab one of those.

Default At the Halfway Point!

Hi everybody!

How's everyone doing at our halfway point? Today, I lost 0.6--not as much as I wanted but still a loss. That means I've lost 3 pounds so far this month. I need to work really hard to lose the last 2-3 pounds. I hope everyone is doing as well

ETA: I will be at the in-laws in Newfoundland for the rest of the month starting Sat. so I won't really know if I've met my goal until August 7th. I hope so!

Default Hello

Hey everyone , i have not been here for a few days because i had a death in the family and i have been helping my mom through it because it was her brother she had been caring for and she is having a hard time dealing with it and i have been very worried about her!!

I usually weigh in on Thursdays and now because of a leader change my new day will be Tuesdays and since Thursday i have lost 3.0lbs. this week so i am a happy camper . i am 2.4 lbs away from 100 lb loss!!-Which is my July goal!!

Default Wow!

Wow, Debbie...nearly 100 pounds gone. That's just wonderful!! It sounds as if you will make it before the end of the month!

I weighed in today and lost 2.2. It's the first time since January that I've been below my goal weight, and it feels so good to be on my way to where I feel best. I cut down a lot on between-meals nibbling, and it must be doing the trick.
