2 frus Japan Way Cool! I don't even have a passport, never been out of the USA. Maybe someday. They have all the Christmas lights out on the main strip and shoping malls already. It was like November 1st and everything went up. I just took my Halloween stuff down yesterday. I am not quite ready for the next step.

Well I am out for the weekend as Friday is Veterans day and I have it off! Hope you all have a good one. It is 70 something today, hope it stays that way so I can go for a ride this weekend.

I gotta renew my passport....it expired last July. I haven't made it to Asia yet...I spent one year in Germany when i was 18/19 yo as an exchange student - i hitchhiked around Europe for a couple months at the end. I never made it to GB though. I spent more time than originally planned in Holland
I did spend a week in Moscow and Leningrad - before Glasnost...very interesting. I also checked out Italy - all the way to the toe...Stockholm and Helsinki on the way to Russia...the time I spent in Germany was mostly in the south, like 6 months near Stuttgart and like 4 months living in Munich. That was hella cool. I could get into big city living...except for the snow...

I married a Mexican - so we go to visit his family pretty much annually. They live about 4 hours north of Mexico city in a podunk town called Dolores Hidalgo. It's a mellow place...

I have a goal to visit every continent before I keel over...2 down - 5 to go!

2 Fru and Gina- Lucky traveling chicks!! I'm with Harley...never been out of the U.S. I really havent even traveled much.

Well, went to the Dr's today b/c I have been dealing with an awful sinus infection. I was so stinking mad. Here I've been thinking that my weight was 250...WRONG!!!!! I am flippin' 262! ARGGGHHH! I could my blood pressure rise. She was happy with it b/c the last time I went to see her I was 277 and since I quit smoking, but I was TICKED regardless! So, I have been very discouraged. And whiney. Being sick and then this has not made for a very happy Andrea. She wants me back in a month for my yearly and I am determined to get some weight off my big butt. Sorry for the whining and complaining. I feel violated by that stupid scale...LOL...its going in the trash!!!!

Are you 2 different weights on 2 different scales?? If so, then just take one set as the "official" figure! My doc's scales are always a bit different from mine.

I am my lowest weight ever this morning! Down to 167 1/4 lbs! And 24% BF. etc...

Then I get to go on holiday but I am determined to be good!

Won't be around for a week or so - keep on keeping on! I expect great things from you laydees while I'm gone

Sorry about the weight Rebel, I know that my Dr's scale reads more than mine does so I'm dreading going there next month. But frustrated is right, just use one scale as the "offical" one. If you're losing weigt according to that one, then you're losing weight.

Nothing new is happening here. I was finally able to move my arms and legs without much pain yesterday so I went to the gym for cardio. My plan is to go tonight, Sat and Sun and I don't see anything stopping me.

Good morning ladies!

Well, I did double check the scale and mine is very wrong. The doctors was right and I was ticked. Oh well, not much to do about it but keep on going.

How was everyone's weekends? Were you all busy?

My weekend wasn't too bad. Friday night I felt so miserable and Dh was so tired that we fell asleep at 5:30 pm and didnt wake up until 8am Saturday morning. I guess we really needed the sleep. Saturday I was pretty good. I did eat some chili with beans, though. Sunday I was awful. I had 2 pumpkin pie spice cappucinos, then my cousin from Montana made a wonderful chicken and spinach manicotti with bread and salad! We don't see her often and I really enjoyed it b/c it was our little Thanksgiving with her.

I think that riding is pretty done for over here. Dh and I went out for a ride Saturday early evening and it was really nice out, but then he went out yesterday and came home like a popsicle! I think that today will be about 60 degrees and then rain is in the forecast, so maybe we can take a spin today.

Pumpkin pie spice cappuccino's.... I'll have to comtemplate how to make a lowfat/splenda version of that....I wonder what they use for spices? I love the eggnog latte, too. But I have the same problem. Freakin Starbucks and their tasty drinks with a million calories!

I had a nice quiet weekend....DH worked all weekend. Bike is still hanging out in the garage. The weather is gorgeous in the daytime...maybe I'll talk him into sautering tonight. I tried to jimmy rig it with electrical tape...no dice.

I have no idea what they used in them, but oh they were heavenly. Our truck smelled like someone had baked in it! Maybe it was pumpkin pie spice that they sell on the spice section? I have no clue, but was awesome!

Love the pumkin spice latte. I say get one non fat, I do about once a week and it doesn't seem to hurt. Just sub your milk serving for it. Also can get non fat eggnog latte. I am not sure how much sugar they have but I think it is a small amount or it would send me over the edge.

Had a very busy Monday and fun 3 day weekend. It was nice just to have time off. Took Christmas pictures with the MC for cards. It was fun. Used the guys colors (yellow and Black) and made santa hats for everyone. The guys had black with yellow band and pom pom, girls with yellow black band black pom pom. Was sewing 24 hats for 3 days but it was a blast.

Reb don't let that dang scale get the best of you! It is coming down down down!

Another busy day here. We are in "crisis mode" with a student that has behavior problems and that means we are pretty busy. I think the situation is going much better. My cat unplugged my alarm this morning so I woke up later than I should have and didnt get to make breakfast. I had packed my lunch last night, but forgot to grab it this morning...I am such a scattered mess today!

We had some light snow blowing this morning and it is frigid outside! I can't wait to go home and curl up on the couch with my blankie! I know, I should be exercising, but I just can't seem to find the energy. Ever since this cold/sinus infection I get so worn out during the work day that I just want to crash when I get home. I need to just do it, though!

Hi all! We have had a very small snow storm last night but it has cleared today. Very windy and cold here though. I am with you reb just want to go snuggle under blankets.

Reb I know what your saying about being crazy in the a.m. It seems like the whole day goes crazy once your thrown off. I hope your feeling better soon. Once you get sick with a sinus infection it takes a while to get back to normal. Take care of yourself. Have a hot drink and just relax.

Darned alarm clocks....I can never get back on track after a start like that either...the whole day just feels off balance.

Crazy work day over here, too. Bringing new clients onto the system...lots of whining and moaning by the newbies. A new crisis to put out every hour on the hour..and then toss in some office politics just for good measure.

BTW - a grande nonfat pumkin spice latte is 290 calories - with no whipped cream...not too bad if that's breakfast. Worth it for the smell alone!

Do you really have to chat about those delectable latte's??? I love the Starbucks gingerbread latte - divine! I put the sugar free chocolate syrup in my coffee every morning so I feel like I'm cheating a little bit.

All this talk of snow so soon - I'm just not ready for it yet! I guess the snow isn't so bad, it's the 30degree weather we get along with it. Bring me some warm weather

I found some Toriani syrup's (hazelnut or caramel are favs) made with splenda....that and fat free half and half in coffee....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

What snow? Come visit - no snow here....just a lot of hot air from the state capitol....
