I've been posting around the boards for awhile but for whatever reason have never found my way over to my fellow Aussie's thread! So I thought I would give a quick hello and hope you're all well - I think I will try to be a bit more of a regular here...if you'll have me lol.

Would post more but I have to go pick my sister up from the bus station...lucky bugger went home to the coast for the weekend while I had a few days hibernation to get over breaking up with the boyfriend *sniffles* such is life.

we are not all better in my house and i am sick of going to the doctor, i feel like such a loser BUT i am right to go each time THIS time ear infections!!! more drugs!! and she has this rattly cough etc and it seems she reacts funny to insect bites they start of dots and by the end of the day they are the size of 20c coins ok maybe 10c coins! poor love
jemima has though been such a trooper through all her sickness this last 2 or 3 weeks you would hardly know there was anything wrong

i have no idea if i will lose weight or not this week.................. but i like the confidence of thinking i wont put on weight

Yes Ani please update on the new housemate. You've been pretty quiet about it so I'm guessing she's not that bad.

Me, well you'll all be soooo proud of me
yesterday I drank 2 litres of water, had a weetbix for brekky, salami bread roll for lunch (3/4), steak and veg for dinner. 2 coffees and 2 cups of tea. THATS IT NO CRAP NO CHIPS NO CHOCOLATE . I had no other snack cause I didn't get time, but I paid for it in the wee hours of this morning. Woke up with hunger pains about 2am.

To top it all off, my scales registered the first drop in a few months..... I lost 600gm. woohoo.

Gotta run, starting work in an hour and still need shower, and drop kids off to 2 different sitters.

It's another beautiful day here and I'm busy so it's passing quickly. My dinner last night was the most delicious that I've had in ages - a big piece of salmon, roast potatoes and a combo of asparagus, courgette and onion sauteed in honey.

I had 1 bacardi and diet coke and 2 points worth of rice crackers as a snack so not too too bad.

Off to the gym tonight and aiming for 60 minutes of something.

Anyway, I'm good - nothing to report. I didn't weigh in this week because it's TOM and I feel hideous and bloated, and I didn't want to demoralise myself. So I decided on a week of scale avoidance therapy!

But I'm being good and I went for a lovely long walk around the river this afternoon.

It was gorgeous today - I rode my bike to the gym and did my weights - decided it was silly to drive there and get on the treadmill to warm up when it was nice outside!

My sister has gone home today with her menagerie, so finally have peace and quiet around the house, thank goodness.

Well the weather has well and truly packed in. I'm going to a function after work today so won't be going to the gym. I had hoped to walk to work this morning but it's so wet and windy that there was no chance of that.

Goal for today is to enjoy the function tonight but not indulge in the nibbles and to resist having more than a couple of glasses of wine.

Ani, I'm so pleased to hear that things are going well with your current housemate

hey Gen is it you that goes to some site and checks calorie intake? Calorie King reckons I should only be on 1130. Given my lifestyle, height, weight, age etc... But everyone is telling me thats to low. What site is best for it?

Yes I was using CK Vonni, but even CK generally says if the answer comes out at less than 1200, just make the cals 1200 by default.

had one teeny weeny handful m&ms tonight and only one milo and yesterday again no m&ms.... it does help they are on top of the fridge and i cant really reach.
baby still sick - she not allowed to go swimming for days, hopefully all clear for next week... poor love has shockin cough as well as ear infection now.....

weigh in tomorrow.... i sneak peaked a look at the scales today... not a good idea.... didnt really look good..... oh well we shall see......

Nothing much new to report, I have been good in most areas. Been a tad slack on the exercise, but have remained under 1500 cals a day. And that includes a cappuccino for morning tea!

How's everyone else going? Gen, you've been kinda quiet?

nothing much to report. I've been watching food intake, not doing too badly. Every time I plan to go to the gym, work needs me to come in or stay back. I think I will just go spontaneously, coz when I plan it, they *know*. Sabotage I tell's ya!

Mum and littlest sister staying overnight. Mum did my dishes Thanks mum!

Will check in soon...btw, does anyone know much about sleep? I am dead tired all the time lately, getting about 6ish hours a night, and I'm dead to the world all that time. Who knows.
