All is well on my end. For Health credit I'm taking a Yoga class. Its great, especially because I HAVE to go but wow are my muscles sore! I plan to take a PE class ever term I can possibly fit it in.

Hello to everyone else!

on this day 5 years ago I weighed 220 lbs. I was pacing the floor in a labor and delivery ward in a Honolulu hospital, awaiting the birth of my son. He apparently wasn't ready to see the world on January 16 so he hung out until mid-morning January 17 to make his first appearance...He's grown into an inquisitive little boy with a fun sense of humor. I would've hoped by now that he would have had a sibling or two, but that just didn't pan out. So tomorrow we celebrate his b-day at Chuck E. Cheese. I can't believe my baby will be 5 years old *sniff sniff* Today I weigh (at last WI) 176, 44 lbs less that the day I gave birth--44 lbs conincidentally is what my son now weighs. OK, getting ahold of myself now . So where is everybody? See? No one shows up this morning yet so I have to entertain myself...

I have been so busy this am this the first time I have sat down today. God I know how feel about our babies growing so fast . Doesn't seem like yesterday they a were born? Give Michael a hug for me and tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! You should be proud of those 44 pounds. I think you are doing great and you are going to meet your goals!

Where is everybody? We are suppose to get more snow tomorrow! I want to lay out in the SUN! There are periods of sun, but I think my neighbors would think I was nuts if went and set up a lawn chair and put on a swimsuit right now. I should't complain though I don't think our temps are quite as bad as Angie's.

I hope you are feeling better Angie and your meds clear everything up for you. Have your hus, kids, and pets baby you ! Get some rest.

I just noticed before the forum crashed my post were way way way over 200 now they are back under! Bummer, I better start posting more. I was so excited when they went over 200. Okay I will stop rambling about something that nobody probally cares about !

Good afternoon!! Well, I found a house in Orange City Florida that me and the kids fell in love with. It has 4 bedrooms,2 bathrooms and a fenced yard with an above ground pool. It even has a FREAKIN palm tree!!!! haha The town is about 4 times bigger than where I am now and it is right by where the Manatees go for the winter so it would more than likely be really busy during the winter and slow during the summer. (JUst what I have always dreamed of) Of course in order to do it I would have to sell my house right away and open a bakery front there instead of doing wholesale since there isnt a spare workshop on that lot. Do you guys think I am crazy? Oh yeah, my house will officially be on the market Monday. YEAH!! I really need to get a hold of my weight and get it back down if I am going to run a front because the last time I did that I was at 265 pounds. I have a low enough self confidence as it is.

Are you all going to come visit me if I can move? I hope so. Daytona Beach is right near by too. We could have some fun!!!

I need to start to exercise but everytime I do my shoulder acts up so now I am paranoid. I havent exercised in so long. Plus the pills are only numbing the pain. I still cant sleep on my left side. I can sleep on my back now so that helps a little. I did come up with an actual grocery list for next weeks meals so maybe that will get me back in gear.

Angie house on the market on MONDAY!!!! How exciting. I really look up to you for following your dreams and just doing what you want. You are so brave. I would love to come visit you. You and I both are so sick of the kind of weather we have. Wouldn't it be great to have a weighty issues party. I can see it getting pretty wild! We would give Noelle a couple drinks and a guitar and party !
And don't do to much excercising, you don't want to push it and make something worse. Just watch what you are eating the best you can and in time you will be able to excercise soon. You know what it felt like to be 265 I don't think you will ever get back there again. You are stong and will get things back under control. Stress for me is hard too, because one time I ate a whole bag of miniture almond joys ! So don't feel bad you have alot going on right now with the house and feeling better. My joke of the day.......I have pms so bad right now I think I would push the driver out of a hostess cupcakes delivery truck and steal it. And then head for the Frito Lay truck and get some cheetos or doritos! Hahahaha

What a week!!! I'm soooo tired. It's tough getting back into the swing of things.

Angie: I know how difficult it can be to make a change like this. After Ashley was born, Alberto and I decided that we did not want to raise her in Southern California. We were not well off financially at the time and it was not easy to go somewhere else. I was offered a job in Ann Arbor, Michigan and we decided to try it. I had lived in the midwest when I was younger so I knew what it was like. It would be better than Calif. After a few months there and a sabbatical in South Korea, we ended up here in Arizona. It took a couple of years to establish ourselves here, but last summer we were finally able to buy a house. I haven't regretted it at all. I love the neighborhood and Ashley is in a good school. Even if your kids resist at first, just reassure them that there will be so many opportunities for them in Florida. They're still young and they'll adjust. I know. My father's job moved us a lot when I was younger. I went to 7 high schools in 5 states and I'm well-adjusted. All the moving we did when I was a kid instilled in me a love of travel and learning. Your kids are really very fortunate. When will you make your big move?

We finally turned on our heater for the first time since before New Year's. I know those of you back east want to throw things at me for saying that, just make sure the tomatoes are not too ripe so I can use them in a salad.

Ok, all of you can yell at me. I know I havn't check in lately. I have been trying to keep myself busy.

Angie I never had any sort of office training. When Is tarted here we were just opening so I just started doing things that I thought would be good for the company. Lots of companies like it if you have a little filing and computer skills but they like to train you there way. Every compnay is different. I kind of like wokring for the smaller places. You may not makes as much money but I think working for someone that actually knows you is better than that. Are you feeling any better?

Noelle I agree, we all need to get our butts in gear and get this thread moving. It is already the 19th of January and none of us has stuck with the challange. I am going to make it a rule for myself that I have to cheak in even on my school days.

Cal I don't run the heater much either. I had the windows open all of yesterday. It was beautiful outside. Are you off of school today?

Scuzin that is great that you are doing Yoga. My mom teaches it where I work. She ahs been doing yoga since before I was born. I think she looks pretty good for her age too. She will be 66 next month. I feel weird calling you that is there something else I can call you?

Angie are you feeling better. I remember when we sold our last house, I was always busy trying to keep it clean and in order just in case there needed to be a showing. We were really lucky and the first people that saw it bought it. I was surprised it sold so fast. I got a good hint from a realtor friend, before a showing bake something which we know you can do, if there is a scheduled open house, because when people walk in it makes them feel cozy and brings out good feelings.

Sorry I havent posted yet today but we listed the RV for sale because I have equity in it and we figured it would look better to try to buy a house in Florida if we had less debt. Well someone from Northern Maine called us this morning about it and hopefully they will buy it and with the extra money I make off it I can pay off my credit card so the only bill I will take with me will be the car payment. YEAH!!! Now if it actually happens...

I am waiting for the realtor to call and set up an appointment to list the house(He is an old friend of my father in law and his girlfriend had heart surgery this weekend and that is why it hasnt gotten done yet) We actually have the only house listed on the nicer side of town so maybe it will go fast. I hope so anyways. I already have a house picked out in Florida

I actually made it through yesterday OP!! Shocked the **** out of me too. I need to try to get back to a comfy weight if I am going to run a bakery front. I dont want to be groaning when I bend over to get donuts out of the case. haha

I am on a pee break so I need to get back to work to finish it but I will be back in a while.

I am starting to get scared about this thread dying out? I wish it would get busy, it gives me such motivation but I know everyone is busy. As for me I ate so much yesterday I did not even feel like eating breakfast today. I am going to try and do better today. Well hope we all get posting again because I think it helps all of us. Julie I just watched one of Oprah's after the show on emotional eating and Bob Greene talked about working through those times to succeed. Maybe you can find it on her site and watch it I know it made me think about a few things. I am trying hard not to eat to much but it isn't easy. Just push on with today. You can't change what happened yesterday but you can control what happens today.

I am worried about everyone too. I check in during the day and no one has posted. I hope everything is ok.

Not to much going on with myself today. My boss is out of town so I brought my school books to work on some homework. Not a very exciting day I know.

Hi. I am still here. I havent had a chance to post because the realtor came this morning to fill out the paperwork. I wished I had more time to post but with the house and all I have been looking up every piece of info I can on Orange City to try to learn as much as I can. I am so scared but excited. If that makes any sense. I do feel bad though because Brittany's grade alone at the new school will have 455 kids in it. That is more than all of our school grades combined up here!! I assume they have one school but it sounds like a seperate building for each grade. Are the schools that big near any of you? I kinda feel guilty about that because I will be more nervous for them on their first day than I will having to run a store front(Which I hate to do because I am NOT a people person. I am so shy.)

I made it through 2 days OP! Night time is so hard but I bought some BB fudgesicle things at 60 calories a piece I eat 2 a night. I am dying for junk though but I need to get back down to 140. I am so screwed if we can actually pull this move off though... There is a Popeys,Wendys,Pizza Hut,etc. in Orange City. The nearest fast food to me right now is 50 miles a way. How will I make it through that? Plus when I start baking my own carrot cake I am in big trouble.

When I move you will all have to come stay with me and we can go to the springs and see the manatees.

Kempy, Do you see many wolf spiders at your house or dangerous snakes and spiders? I am kinda nervous about that because spiders scare me to death.

I miss getting on here and yapping all day. We should do a live chat some night so we can all just talk. I think I am about done with the move stuff now I may need to get ahold of the SBA so I can open a front the right way but I will make time to post more often.
