    Exercise: Yoga with Adriene day11

    Positive: Stayed true to Intermittent Fasting today.

    Negative: I ate more carbs than usual last night so I’m doing a bit of IF today.

    Tomorrow is Wednesday - half way through the week already!
  • Breakfast: oatmeal with blueberries
    Lunch: ham sandwich
    Snack: banana
    Dinner: salad, ravioli

    Exercise:
    2 hrs. barn work

    Positive: the ice on the trees was beautiful
    Negative: more freezing rain coming tomorrow
  • Breakfast: Nutrition Drink
    Dinner: Chickpeas and Green Onion patties, Bok Choy, Rice, Chili/Lime Sauce
    Supper: Veggie Pizza
    Snack: Rice crackers

    Positive: Lovely barn owls talking to each other as I walk in the fields in the early morning. Beautiful light snowfall.
    Negative: Need more stretching.

    Corinna: two barn owls chatting .. oh my. Both you and Renee are in beautiful surroundings. I love picturing it.

    Positive: Some more Intermittent Fasting today. Just having one big lunch. Today I feel nice and light.

    Negative: Nothing really. Just staying true to our eating plans and exercise, and enjoying the good people around us is all I need. Happy Wednesday Renee and Corinna

    Dinner: fruit, chicken, mixed vegetables, brownie

    Exercise: 2 hrs. barn work

    Positive: had a quiet day
    Negative: food wise, today was a disaster. I was bored so baked some brownies.

    I am never going to lose weight........I eat when I'm bored and stuck in the house.
  • Breakfast: Nutrition Drink
    Dinner: Bean Curry and rice
    Supper: Lentil chips
    Snack: Banana
    Exercise: Elliptical, stretching

    Positive: I was told by a co-worker that I looked like I was losing weight. I think it was just flattery, but it was nice to hear and inspired me to continue in my efforts.
    Negative: I won't have enough people for a Weight Loss team at work. People just don't want to commit. They like their food and lots of it.

    Hey Renee-Don't give up yet. You can do this! What about watching and doing an exercise video when you get bored. You don't have to get all out and sweaty, but just do a little movement and have some fun. Take a look at this one. I think its upbeat. Works for me. Its on https:

    Follena-with your fasting this week, you are sure to see some good results by the end of the week. Especially since you are still doing Yoga too. That's great! Keep that positive attitude!

  • Renee: boredom’s a trigger for me too.
    Corinna: nice to have someone notice weight loss! Sorry you couldn’t find enuf coworkers to join the challenge.

    Meals: cream in my coffee, SKYR yogurt, chicken breast and mixed green salad, fish & kale chips.

    Exercise: Yoga with Adriene day 13

    Positive: a young man n vehicle in front of me at McDonald’s drive thru bought my coffee for me! Today a nice good bye lunch with a co-worker who’s leaving.

    Negative: I’ve had a hard week with loud office and inner struggles but managing to bear up under it and finding the good in things.

    Dinner: sliced fruit, chicken, carrots

    Exercise: 3 hrs. barn work

    Positive: the heavy rain melted the ice away and I didn't overeat

    Negative: the heavy rain flooded out my barn. I'll have a mess to clean-up after the water drains away.

    Supper: Olive Chips and Guacamole
    Snack: Veggie Jerky
    Exercise: Elliptical, stretching

    Positive: At the last minute, I found 2 more people to join the 8 week Weight-loss group at work. So I am officially entered on a team and weighed-in. Yippee!

    Negative: Ate the whole bag of olive chips while watching TV. Should have poured some in a bowl and ate from that rather than sitting with the bag. I know better! Obviously I wasn't thinking on that one.

    Renee-you got a good work out yesterday. Hope it doesn't get too muddy. Good job on not overeating and staying busy.
    Follena-Day 13 with Yoga, good job at staying dedicated to that. I bet you are seeing some positive results already.

    Exercise: Slow walking downtown at lunch - thought I'd work out the kinks in my left knee

    Positive: Stayed OP on eating regime and might buy some Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancellation headphones for the office. $300 to get me through the next 18 months

    Negative: Some days are better than others. I'll just leave it at that.

    Negative: probably ate too much...not expecting a good weigh-in
  • Breakfast: Banana, Celery, Hummus
    Dinner: Pad Thai, Bread roll
    Supper: Potato wedges
    Exercise: 4 mile walk, stretching exercises

    Positive: Got a good walk in with the hubby and dog. It was a nice morning.
    Negative: Didn't need to eat the potato wedges. A co-worker brought some in to work and dropped some off in a container for me. I should have politely declined.

    Renee-hot chili would sure taste good on a cold day. I can see how you would eat lots of that. Perhaps it won't be as bad as you think, since you had all that barn work.
    Follena-wow, you must have a very noisy office. That's too bad. Would your work help pay or split the cost for the headphones? You could tell them that would be cheaper than disability pay for deafness.

    My weigh-in shows........let me try again, nope it still says up 1.5 lbs. What?!? Is this scale crazy!?! It had me down earlier in the week and now it is up. I definitely need to work on my focus and determination now. I am headed in the wrong direction. Good luck to you ladies.

  • Corinna: my brother asked same question.. the first manager I asked scoffed and said this place is too cheap. But I emailed a director who is more generous. I found a pair on VarageSale for $150. If they’re in good shape I’m buying!

    Meals: Eggs n bacon and cream in my coffee. Scallops with veggies.

    Exercise: likely a walk.

    Positive: will take my niece out for her 2 hot dogs. Maybe a walk or coffee with a friend later.
    Negative: it’s 2 days off to spend with my cat and friends. Nothing negative.

    Once a week weigh-in: Saturday January 12th 177 pounds, Jan 19 175.2 pounds and today 173.8.

    Dinner: salad, pizza

    Exercise: 3 hrs. barn work

    Positive: didn't overeat and the sun was shining
    Negative: weigh-in showed no change

    Exercise: 30 minutes walking, stretching

    Positive: I figured out why I gained weight. My kidney stones are bothering me.
    Negative: My kidney stones are bothering me again.

    Oh Renee, I feel for you. Don't give up yet. I bet next week you will see some results. It's going to happen. It has to since you have been trying so hard. Hang in there. I will keep you in my prayers.

    Now I am off from work for a few days, so I get to cook, clean, and have fun like watching TV or walking if its not too cold/rainy. Have a wonderful Sunday/Monday.
