Newlyn: I have some chocolate every single day. But the thing I try to remember is that 95% of the enjoyment is in the first bite. So just a tiny piece of chocolate or a thin slice of cake is just about as pleasurable as a larger piece, with a lot less calories.

Total Loss for Week Two:
Yesterday was a weird day. My power was out at lunchtime, so no oven, no micro, no toaster. I had cold chicken and strawberries and a couple baby carrots and a slice of cheese. But then I went off plan for dinner last night, so I wasn't really surprised to see a small bump. I didn't go over on calories, but instead of protein and veggies, I was feeling really lazy and tired after my long work week, so I just had a bowl of Cheerios for dinner. Whatever. I only have to work 6 or 7 hour days for the next week or so, so I should be less tired and be able to get back on track starting today. I did go for a walk yesterday, which is just about the only exercise I've done this week, too (I did my strength training one day also). It hasn't been a great week for movement.

I usually don't fall off and on the wagon so quickly back-to-back. I'm hoping that I can keep myself in check a little more this month. Also, congrats on hitting new lows and 65 lbs down!!

...lol. Speaking of which, my weigh-in of 173.0 today will almost certainly pop back up some tomorrow because I slept through my alarm by a good 4 hours, so I weighed in very late. I'm trying to keep a partial overnights schedule on my days off too so I don't have to keep switching back as much for the work week but am still able to see my family a little, but it's still a little rocky. I assume balancing the routine will become easier as time goes along. That said, classes started back up today, so I am using my alone time on my off days overnights to get in as much school work as possible to get a head start on it for the week. We'll see how everything goes...lol.
