  • My goal today was to actually get SOME exercise in since i have been procrastinating with packing but proud to say I walked 5 miles and biked 10. About to say goodbye to the 80 degree weather for a WHOLE MONTH /cry

  • My goal for today is to eat reasonably when we're at our friend's house for dinner! i know they are grilling steak... must keep it under control!
  • I met my goal for yesterday! I had sooo much fun at the concert/afterparty, but I didn't overeat. It was hard--we had a reception after the concert with TONS of delicious cookies and a huge sheet cake, but I didn't have of that, and then when I went to dinner afterwards I ordered a veggie burger with a side salad. I was so proud of myself. Then at the party I only had 2 drinks (and that was enough for me! I'm much more of a lightweight than I used to be, LOL!), and I totally danced my butt off... I even starting breaking a pretty good sweat there, hehe. I will confess that I ended up devouring some of the leftover cake that was at the party (the alcohol made me do it! ack!), but I didn't have that feeling of "I'm losing control," or eat a TON of it, or take that as license to binge for the rest of the evening... I just wanted some cake, you know? SO I think I did pretty darn well, and I am pleased.

    I forgot to come here last night to set a goal for today, so I'll set one for this evening--one that isn't really related to weight loss, but it's really important nonetheless. I have a lot of schoolwork to do this week, including a big Linguistics assignment AND paper due on Thursday, so I'm going to resolve to start at least one or the other tonight! After the amazingly relaxing and fun weekend I've just had, it's going to be really hard to get my butt back in gear... I'm still in "party mode," heh. But it's really crucial that I get an early start on this stuff!

  • my goal today is to get on my bike and go for an invigorating ride. It is so good to get out, I had surgery on my ankle and have just been cleared to exercise...woo-hoo!!!
  • My goals for the week:

    work out after my fiance' goes to work. (5 am, but i'm usually just awake not doing anything anyways)
    go to my first WW meeting tonight at 5:30
    meet with a trainer to get a workout rotation going
    do the shred at least three times this week once I get it in from netflix
    and last but not least, buy NO junk food when I go grocery shopping tonight!!
  • My goal is to do 45 minutes on the elliptical at the gym... currently I do about 35 minutes so I think it is time to up the minutes as it has bee 2 weeks now.... I just started being able to do the elliptical. I couldn't do it when I first joined gym 5 months ago and tried about 2 months ago still couldn't do it longer than 5 minutes but 2 weeks about I tried again and was successfull!

    I did meet this goal! They grilled HUGE steaks and I only ate half and brought home the other half (about 5 oz). Didn't have any alcohol. And only one serving of mashed potatoes.

    Today my goal is to start Week 3, Day 1 of C25k, then get in a walk with the hubster since it's supposed to be 70 degrees out today!
  • Hi all! First time posting in this thread, but I like the idea of mini-goals, so here it comes:

    I have to be gone from home all day today until about 11 o'clock at night. Around 5 I'm going carpooling with a few people to go observe a support group tonight and won't be home till eleven. Anyway, I think we're going to quickly eat fast food in the car (since it's a 2 hour drive each way) and I'm on phase 1 of the SBD :-( I'm very nervous as to how this will work out.

    My goal is to not give in to being starving this entire day and then getting no-no foods in the drive-thru. I W.I.L.L. get a salad!
