Kim- I really hope things get better for you. I think not knowing what is wrong is the hardest. Please keep us informed. And thank you for helping me with the chart. I appreciate your taking the time to do it.

ella- Let me clarify.. 2 lbs is soo great but I have more water weight to lose and I usually lose a lot after a period of binging. If I could lose 2 lbs every week I would do a back flip!!! Esp since last challenge, I was at a plateau and didn't lose a singe lb for the last 3 weeks of the challenge!

I really need to kick up my work outs this week. I usually get up before school to do it but lately I just can't do it! I hit the snooze for over an hour! not good!

Good luck everyone this week!!!!

JessieCat- plateaus suck! I had one last year that lasted 3 weeks. It spurred me taking a break from dieting, where I maintained for about 4 months. Then I gained 5 over the holidays. So now I am back and determined to make it to goal weight. I am within 20 lbs I am hoping this challenge will really help me stay on track

Ella13, what are you getting your PHd in? What are you focusing on? My dissertation is essentially on the rise of the executive branch in the US over the past thirty years. It is so hard being in school again, and trying to eat healthy! I gained an extra 10lb the first month back in school, but that was almost good in a way, because it motivated me to action! I've lost that all now, and a little more, but it is so hard to eat healthy foods on my tiny budget... do you have any tips? pizza here is $4 a pie, and every day its a battle to go right home instead of grabbing one!

Arthwen1985 will try to get the activities up by later today. Either check the main post for the challenge or I will let you know as soon as I find out in this thread.

bakabeth~ I feel for you, I had serious issues with my weight when I was in college. So much junk food everywhere and it's so much cheaper then healthy food. Plus the salad bar always had flies buzzing around it...

ella13~ You must be excited to be so close to your goal! The last few pounds are always the hardest, if you need people to kick your butt, I’m sure we can help 

My BF and I had a huge fight last night and as of right now are done. 2.5 years and I don't really know how to react. Part of me really wants him to stay, the other part just isn't sure anymore. He has so many issues that just seem to take over everythin, and while I really want to be with him, I also really need to focus on myself… I’ll know more when I go home this afternoon.

Wow Kim! I am sorry to hear about your BF. 2.5 years is nothing to bat an eyelash at. Sometimes taking a break from things is the best answer. For me, I broke up with my BF after being together for 3 years. He just wasn't being a good BF. We started to date again and he realized that he was not making me happy. He did almost a 180 and we are back together now and have been going strong for awhile (5.5 years total). If you need to talk more, you can PM me.

bakabeth- I am impressed with your motivation. I yo-yo dieted my entire 4 years of college and I am still doing it. I am still on a budget so buying healthy food is sometimes hard. As a resident, my salary is pitiful, so I had to take out even more student loans. Anyway, I always buy things on sale at the supermarket.. I look at the ads online each week and make my list that way. I look for coupons too. Walmart is actually pretty good for low fat stuff. They have a very low cal maple syrup that is so cheap and their generic brand stuff doesn't taste too bad.

ella- I also have about 20 lbs left to do.. a bit less. I feel unmotivated recently. I think b/c it is so cold out and dark when I get up in the morning. I did do the 30DS today and am trying to make a goal for myself everyday to do some kind of exercise. WE can do this! I also want to get my goal soon. I want to be at goal by Memorial Day weekend!

bakabeth- my degree is in biology, with a focus on bioinformatics (biological statistics) Being in school is hard. I also teach full time and I am a coach. So my plate is over full. I get up at 4 in the morning to work out I wish there was something I could say that would make it easier but it's hard. The best thing I have found is to bring enough healthy food. They sell $1 pizza and it's tempting but if I bring my lunch then will eat healthy instead. If I don't have food with me, all bets are off!

Kim- I am so sorry, the answer will come to you. We're all here for you

Jessiecat- congrats on being so close. This is always the hardest part for me. There seems to be hump around 130 lbs that I have a hard time getting over, but I know I can do it this time. We are going to look HOT this summer

Kim I'm so sorry to hear that!! I hope you are doing okay. Breaks are definitely for the best sometimes, so you can step back and evaluate and all that. but I'm sorry times are so rough for you with all this right now

Hi team! I've just had a look at the exercises that we're supposed to do this week and I'm pleased to day that I've already been doing some of them without knowing The walking one's going to be easy for me this week as I'll have 4 of them done by tomorrow in just 2 days

Oh yeah, just to clarify, in my introduction post on this thread I said I'm 27 years old. Well, I'm not. I'm 26. I realised this at 23.07 Tuesday night...it only took me 4 months!!! Doh!

From Arthwen1985~
Activities for week two are:

1) Jump rope
2) Walk outside for 15 mins then walk back
3) Treadmill walking
4) Treadmill jogging
5) Clean house (I hear it burns a lot of calories to clean house... haha)

Now, remember, You can choose to do all or just 3 of these activities. If you can't do any of them for one reason or another i can accommodate.

Sorry I have been MIA ladies, things have been kind of crazy…

JessieCat and ella13~ You guys should swap ideas about what has/is working for you. Maybe a little competition will help you both push yourselves to your goal also.

Anti222~ That’s funny about your age… Glad you’re back!!!

So I posted the same stuff on another post as it was a lot to type and I wanted to give everyone kind of a heads up as to why I’ve been MIA and whats been going on…

So some serious drama on the home front. My parents decided to call the cops on my bf (we are back together on terms that I will specify in a sec) for drugs and alcohol, so now he is required to go to court and rehab. My parents love my bf, but feel that his parents won’t do anything to help him, so they took it on themselves to basically force him to do something. So I’m both mad and proud of them since my mom promised she would just try to help him without including the police, but the counseling service she called said that the only way to make sure he gets the help he needs, is to basically force him into it. SO MUCH DRAMA! So he leaves in the next couple days. Going to be interesting. Some of you are probably wondering why I stay with him. He is an absolutely amazing person when he's sober, and I love him with all my heart. We have been through so much together and I can't imagine leaving him now when he needs me most. I need time for myself as well, and by his going to rehab, I'm going to get that time, plus still be able to be there for him when he needs me. Maybe it is twisted, but for now, it's what I want.

Good news… I lost 4.8 lbs this week!!! I stayed really OP up until the last couple days… but I plan on jumping right back OP today.
