I can hardly stand the waiting. There is sooo much baseball fever in the air here. The company I work for let us wear casual clothes for today, sat and sun (for a $3 donation to American Heart Assoc.). But the stipulation was the top had to be something cardinals or red. How great is that! I love seeing all the baseball stuff in every store. I want to buy everything.
Gary - I hear ya on those blankety-blank scalpers. Here, 20 minutes after tics went on sale, they were sold out (opening day) and before that was standing room only (SRO). Makes me nuts. Hopefully next year I am going to buy partial season tickets and that always includes opening day.
Crazynette - Have a stupendous time at the games!! Can't wait for the pics. At least one of us gets to go to opening day!
Well my DODGERS won the second game of the annual freeway series, over my ANGELS last night, 13-4. That evens it up at 1-1. They will play the third and final game tonight at ANGEL STADIUM.

I didn't get to see a pregame show. The only coverage I could find was ESPN2 and they didn't show any pregame. I kept flipping through the local channels before the game. I must have missed it. Darn. But I did download the WS parade for my ipod. Maybe they'll have the pregame for download soon.
Oh, and BTW - I was interested in fantasy play, but it look too complicated. Does anyone have any suggestions for a VERY simple version? I don't even understand how your team is formed. There must be a "Fantasy Baseball for Dummies" book, right?

I thought you were in the St.Louis area? Do you not get KSDK news channel 5? They showed all of it.

It was on from 6-7pm. The cable guide was wrong here as well but I remembered them talking about doing the pre-game show.
