    I'm doing okay today...It's been BUSY for me. Grocery shopping, church, housecleaning, kids, blah, blah, blah.

    I didn't get my normal 2 workouts in today, just one...but I suppose that's okay, lol.

    Of to take a quiz and write a paper right now.
  • Good morning Black Team. Another busy weekend for us all it seems. I do envy the people on the Biggest Loser show in that they get to dedicate all their time to losing weight. I keep saying if I didn't have to work I'd make my goal weight in a year!

    That is such a cool story about Julz and Amber. Who'd a thunk?

    Some of the people want to do the fitness bingo again so we'll start a new game on Tuesday. I think we'll open it up to the other teams too. I know some people commented that they didn't have time to join another challenge but this one is pretty simple. If you play the regular bingo many of the "challenges" only take a few minutes to do. It's just something to mix up the day. Please join in. Seems like we're kind of losing our steam here which tends to happen in these challenges. Thanksgiving is only a week and a half away, how about we push ourselves the next week?

  • I scored a 100% on that quiz! I have a test to take later on today, and then my homework will be done for the week...until tomorrow, when I get my new assignments. LOL. I am SO ready for Thanksgiving break!
    I also envy the people on the show who get to devote all of their time to weight loss! At the same time, though, I bet that when they get home, they really struggle to find a balance. So maybe I don't envy them for that. But I do envy them because they get Bob and Jillian! Having them as trainers would be...AWESOME!
    I didn't get in on the fitness bingo, but it's not because I'm losing steam..I'm still working out as much as ever, I just haven't been able to get on here as much, lol. I'd like to see if I can get in on this round though.

    Ive been super busy crafting (christmas gifts). Ive felt horrible, havent exercised as much as usual, not enough water, crappy foods this past week. I know Ive lost a little but a very little. Hope this week coming up is better for me.

  • Hey girls, I've been reading, but haven't been posting much. Today is the beginning of a new week for exercise though and I promise to get back at it full strength. I can tell TOM is on it's way though and I am so not looking forward to it. Unfortunately I have to post another gain...thankfully only one pound, but still this puts me back at 250

    I am so ready to lose this weight for good! My parents are coming to visit over Thanksgiving, have not seen them since August, want them to be able to notice at least a little difference.

    I hope everyone has a great Monday. I am going to be in training at work this week so don't know if I will be able to catch up during the day...I did print off my BINGO card though so I will HAVE to check in!

  • I managed to lose 2.2 lbs this week. Dont ask me how. Really I have no idea! Ive sucked all week long.
  • I stress ate my way thru the weekend, so I had to post a gain this week. I didn't take my second freebie cause I'm afraid I won't get to check in while on vacation next week and I don't want to get tossed out of the challenge at this point. I keep fighting the same pound and a half. I've got my focus back now, so I'll just keep plugging away at it.
  • Sorry I haven't been participating. My husbands uncle died so we were on a road trip for 12 hours on Wednesday and another 12 hours back to home on Saturday. The last couple of days we have been getting ready to move. Tomorrow the movers will be here. Wednesday we will be on the road for another 12 hours. Then we have to look for a place to live. Then after that is all said and done we will be back on the road for 9 hours for Thanksgiving at our families houses. So I will have a hectic couple of weeks. I will be glad when life slows down just a little bit. I did horrible last week. We ate out alot on the trip and I don't know how to eat healthy on a trip. I guess I need help with eating on a trip

    Goodness, it sounds like you've had a lot on your plate! I hope things calm down for you soon.
  • I posted my weight in the weigh in thread! I was down 4lbs this week. I have to be honest and say that I wished for 6lbs..lol. I know that sounds silly, but with that 2lb gain last week, I thought that I would loose a BUNCH this week. Still, I'm happy with it...I surpassed my goal of 225 for this challenge!
  • Oh gee. . . is it glaringly obvious that I haven't checked in to this thread in a while or what? Ha-ha. Anyway, I agree that it is so cool that Julz and I are 4th cousins. That is a pretty crazy coincidence. I've promised her that if she ever makes her way to Chicago we'll definitely hang out.

    I have a good reason for not checking in here for a while. On Thursday of last week I worked 13 1/2 hours straight. Ick. I obviously didn't make it to the gym. And, my eating from work's dinner buffet wasn't the best of good choices.

    Friday I left work at 11am to head down to St. Louis for my best friend's wedding. I did relatively decent eating wise for that day. My dinner was broiled cod with a plain baked potato. I had chicken noodle soup as an appetizer.

    Saturday I didn't have much in the way of healthy food options even offered to me. I settled for 1/2 of a bagel with low-fat cream cheese for breakfast. Lunch was 2 slices of cheese pizza. Dinner was tortellini in cream sauce - that was definitely the worst of it. I tried to keep mindful.

    Sunday morning my family went to eat at Cracker Barrel. This is where I'm really proud of myself. I ordered scrambled egg beaters, turkey sausage and a biscuit with honey. Though, I'll be the first to admit they brought me TWO biscuits and I ate them both. Bad Amber.

    My boyfriend and I drove back mid-afternoon and we spent all night last night cleaning the condo. One of my other best friends is coming down from Canada to visit me for two days so I wanted the place spic and span. We're going out tonight to eat (for sushi thank goodness) and tomorrow night. I'm not sure what we're having tomorrow night but please Lord, let them not want anything in the way of Italian. I cannot eat healthy at an Italian restaurant.

    Wednesday will be no-friends day and that will be nice. I love both of my best friends, but gee will it be nice to have my life back.

    Anyway, I'm really swamped here at work so I better get back to it. I forgot to weigh myself today so I'll go with my weigh-in from Friday morning. It's only 1/2 lb. At least it's moving in the right direction.
