Mudpie - yes I agree with you that yoga or similar flexibility/strength exercises are important for injury prevention, and not just sports injuries, more the ability to correct yourself and spring away if you misplace your foot or suddenly or have to duck under something, or just everyday bending and twisting really. You see some people tottering along as if barely balanced and a gust of wind would blow them over, which isn't where you'd want to be.
Shannon - love that you're on to Day 436 of a 30-day challenge

Also that you're still counting

I don't know if i'm motivated enough to try it at home, but it would be good to get something on my computer for when i'm travelling I guess. I also like to go to different classes with different teachers at the gym because they all have different things to say which add up to a better big-picture (especially when i'm still learning). On the other hand sometimes it gets a bit wordy and the flow isn't as natural as it would be at home. Also I spend time panicking about which is left and which is right I half these classes because my brain hasn't sorted that one out yet!
Michele - I work as a application specialist for a chemical company in our Mining division, and am developing a new product to use in steelmaking with a big Indian company in the South. I like India! Not mad keen on the crazy big cities there, but my work gets me to the more laid-back places - industrial but rural too. Think the trip is on after all, which is good really. Not many Indian's in Aus really, but i'm from UK originally, in the North, and there were areas with same sort of percentage of Indian's as at your school. I bet they're all pushed along a bit by their parents? Great food!
Spin class was good this morning. Just home. Feel really energised and pleased with myself now.
