OK about my weight... I know weight loss is not linear etc etc and I am used to painfully slow progress... but I did think I would drop a bit more before leveling off. The combination of binging on and off for months, getting older, and having an injury that stopped me from exercising for a while has shifted my set point apparently.
I am consuming 1000-1200 extremely healthy calories. I track everything and I have hit every single nutritional requirement even before any supplements (I know the USRDA is not the end all-be all but it gives me a gauge of how healthy I am eating). I have 4 cups minimum veggies per day, usually more like 5-6. Plenty of protein but not excessive (80-100g usually). No processed carbs, no grains. Plenty of fiber (usually over 30-35 g) I'm not hungry...
The thing I am not doing is exercising yet. So much for that "80% of weight loss is diet" rule... I don't think it works when you don't have a lot of weight to lose... at least not for me. It's more like 50/50 in my recent experience! If I'm not exercising I'm not losing. uuuuugh I was planning to wait a couple more weeks and drop a few more pounds before starting Couch to 5K again... just uuuuugh. I hate exercising when I am so out of shape. <<< but that's sort of the attitude that got me where I am now
