Well Oakfield, since you don't eat chocolate my fabulous advice of making yourself a "birthday brownie" won't work!
Focus on how much your son is enjoying his day, instead of focusing on the food. Keep in mind how much better you will feel and how much more active you can be when you get this weight off! It's a little corny, but keep thinking, "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels."
AS far as the gain, my week four was a bad week too...trust me, next weigh in will be better!
I have another great recipe to share..I made my family brats and homemade potato salad the other day, I had my own...a honeysuckle white turkey italian sausage hot off the grill with grilled peppers and mustard and made my own "faux-tato" salad. I boiled one cup of cauliflower, cooled it and chopped it. Then I mixed 1 T hellman's light mayo, 1 T mustard, a dash of onion powder, a sprinkle of splenda, salt and pepper and stirred it into the cauliflower. Then I sliced 1 boiled egg (my sausage was only 4 oz. cooked, so I could use the whole egg as the rest of my protein) and put it on top of the "salad" then I sprinkled it w/ a little paprika. And BAM, fauxtato salad
