MM~I read your post. I am sitting here with sting tears in my eyes. Thank you thank you thank you. I will check out JCP catalog! Yesterday I lost sight of my black dress. I couldn't force myself to do anything. I was so depressed and not motivated to do a darned thing. I had a pity party. When I realized I was the only one invited, I got mad and bored. I am better today. I even signed up for the new biggest loser challenge. I am soooo bound and determined to fit into that slinky black dress I could just pop. I am remotivated and rearing to fit into a size 10 black dress!

Earthshaker~Thank you! It has been tough. Now I have a whole year to heal and get over this grieving....It is good to know I am not the only one that has been hurt by the pains of divorce.

akhrob~Thank you! I want out of the 180's so badly. Then join the leaving 170ville! Can't wait to be at goal. I think some one said 143 days until Christmas?? I didn't count, I need to and post it so I can mark off each day until Christmas. Will help to keep me honest.

Just dropping in to say hi, really. I got my training shirt in the mail and I was sooo excited yesterday. I even think I've found the beginning of a bicep.

I walked last night, though, and struggled for 2 miles which is ridiculous. I've been walking far more than that for months.

I don't know why all of this doubt kicked in. I'm seriously wondering if I can do this now.

Hoping to get some swimming in today. I'm soooo close to 300 that I'm watching every single thing I eat. I want to cross that line within the next two weeks so badly, just so I can say "I don't weigh 300."

I've been wanting to say that for so long (honestly~ ha) that I can't really think of anything else right now. I hope the number obsession passes once I hit it.

mothermavis, it does feel good to stay on plan! (I was having a pity party Monday cause I had a bad weekend.) But I'm back at it! I think we just have to find that one thing that "inspires" us to do it and get focused on that. That's my plan anyways! LOL

Hi Everyone~today has been a tough day to get through. I did okay with my eating though I could have done better. I have been very depressed, I cried some. I think that is passed for now. I did 1 hour of stepping, my weight training, 50 upper ab crunches and 50 oblique crunches. I feel better for having done my workouts at least I accomplished something positive today.

Eny~ I joined the biggest losers challenge. I seen you did too. I hope we get the same team. I don't have a clue what I am supposed to do next? Will a team be chosen for me? How will I know what to do each week?

i'M losing sight of my goals this week. I want SO desperately to get to #163.6 by Christmas.. but I'm sabotaging myself! AHHH! Pat - We nee to get back at this! For some reason my sticking point has always been around #185. I start freakking out and giving up then. And I've done it again. I'm back at #187.4 this morning.. and I know it's because I've eaten like CRAP and haven't worked out!

Enygirl: I'm about to hit my "wall" too. I'm personally challenging YOU (yes, you!) to go through it with me. In a couple of weeks or a couple of months, this obstacle will be a memory. I think the numbers are just a sign of our progress...it's just a number. And some are more symbolic than others. It's not so much about this particular number as it is something you keep coming up against like a wall. Look at how much you've lost already! The fact that you keep stalling at this point just means you're around the bend from accomplishing more than you have before. Stick with it. I know you can do it. You're about to reach all new peaks (or lows, as it were!).

I don't think that I'll have a loss at my next WI (tomorrow). I've had a loss for the last 3 weeks so I guess I'm due for a gain, but it is small.

I have worked out hard twice this week for a total of 120 minutes, plus my normal walking. Hopefully this will help me loose again next week.

I read this thread daily, but don't usually post.

Hopefully soon I'll know what we are doing at work for Weight Watchers.

good morning all!

so i went to the gym yesterday, with a strict 1 hour for workout. After, I had to pick up my daughter. When I looked up from weight training, I was already 45 mins gone! It felt good to work my body and not worry about doing the minimum. So I squeezed in 15 min of intense cardio and called it a day.

Eny~EarthShaker~I am personally Challenging all three of us to buddy up, hold hands, get mad as wholly fury, cry, stomp, storm, what EVER it Takes to get through this road block together. We are worth it, we all deserve good health, well being, and great life styles. What do ya say we band together and get to our Christmas goals. I know I need to shake this funky depression. Eny says she has freaked out and panicked, and Shaker too. Again, can we buddy up and get through this together? I have got this far because MM has been there for me encouraging me about my dream of wearing a beautiful black dress. Eny has helped me leave the 190's. This whole board has been here for me when I am so depressed I don't want to go on. But all we have to do is get one foot in front of the other. It is easier when we can physically and mentally lean on our friends. Personally I need all the friends I can get right now. We are WOMEN we can do this!!!! Shaker You said it best in your earlier post. You rock girl!!

Pat - you're right we did leave the #190's together - and I REFUSE to go back! Now I have to push to leave the #180's! I WANT TO DO THIS!! I HAVE TO DO THIS!!! It will be a n accomplishment that I have NEVER done! (lowest weight in last 10+ years is #180.6)

Tonight - I'm GOING TO cook dinner at home! I WILL do the 30 day shred video (level 1, as it's my first time)! I WILL TURN MYSELF AROUND AND START HEADING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AGAIN!!!

I WANT SKINNY CLOTHES FOR CHRISTMAS - AND I CAN'T BUY THEM IF I'M THE SAME SIZE.. OR IF I DON'T WIN THE $150 PRIZE FOR MY FAMILY COMPETITION!!!!
