Me, too. I second all the above. I just don't feel like doing anything lately. I just told hubby tonight, I was watching one of those RA commercials on TV tonight and there was a woman who couldn't hardly get out of bed. She just sat there on the side of the bed and held her head in her hands for a minute and then it talked about how people with RA were in pain and tired all the time and how they needed to get on this medicine to feel better. I thought, what if she had Osteo arthritis, fibromyalgia, and severe anemia to boot. She'd probably never get out of bed. I told him I seriously don't know how much longer I can keep on doing everything I'm doing. It's getting really hard. I was going to water the outside flowers today. The water hose had been connected to the faucet and was on the front porch. Hubby mowed last night and disconnected it and dragged it to the other side of the driveway. When I discovered that, I just came back inside. I just didn't have the energy to drag that hose across the yard, connect it and then water all the flowers, too. (The front and back porches are full of flowers) Hubby did it after he got home tonight. I told him all I really want to do is stay inside and sleep. I think the heat has some to do with it but, also, my blood has dropped. They called from Nashville a couple of weeks ago and told me. I'm trying to get it back up but there's just so much I can do. I'm drinking protein shakes. Spiru-tein with whey protein. I'm eating steak, chicken, fish and taking extra vitamins and I've upped my B12 shots to every 2 weeks.

The 'thing' my kids 'fell out' over was huge ... gigantic. Something that was not their fault. Neither are actually in the wrong and it is a wrong that can't acutally be righted. I can't explain because I can't talk about it. It involves minors. It's tragic but things happen and only time can heal them sometimes. I told my best friend I feel like it went something like this. Satan was walking the earth and he saw a family, a family that had never had a fight or even a cross word, and he said to himself, 'hmmm, how can I cause strife in this family? I know, I'll go in through the children.' So he did ... and he did, boy did he ever. It will never be the same again with my kids. My son and daughter were raised right, they are Christians, and they are talking but I know there will never be family gatherings like there used to be. I've already accepted that. Even though there is forgiveness and there will be healing to a point, this will always be there ... it's too big to be forgotten.

Candice, as long as both are silver, they should match fine. It's your house, don't let other people tell you what you have doesn't match. Put what you want in it! Who says everything has to match exactly, anyway. Everything in my house doesn't match and we built it ourselves. Your home is a matter of your taste.

Don't work to hard girls, It's been being in the 90s here ... too hot to work. It's supposed to cool down some. That'll be nice.

Meme-it's amazing what God can heal but it's way too fresh right now. Give it to Him and let go-easier said than done.
And Candace-I also would get stressed about what you are doing. I am a perfectionist about the house but i have had to look the other way because this house is so undone-Brad is putting in more AC at the church because his work slowed down. We said that this was the year he was going to tie up the loose ends in the house. Never happened-even the houise in FL is starting to come undone. I am going to insist he fix the AC -not the AC itself but the material around it.And of course he has to fix the floor. So don't worry-when everything is done -it will look great.

Through til Sept-made a bit of money.My kids are planning a party for me for my 70th bd, Suzanne got mad because Brad said it was a surprise-Don't tell Brad ANYTHING you don't want him to repeat. I told him not to talk about it. I know we are going to Bobby's on the 23 for dinner. If anyone else shows up-I don't want any presents but I can't say that because I actually do not know if anyone else will be there-something to let go of.

Meme, there are some days that I don't even want to get up and go to the bathroom. I think we all have those days. The heat really does a number on me too. I can understand you not wanting to move the hose around the house. I would have been the same way. We've been in the 70's the past couple of days, so it has been very nice.

Not much rest but hope to take another load to the house..this is just too much for me..........I had to lug a heavy hose and only got stuff partially watered..just too hard for me. They put a grub killer down and told me to water it in...NOT done.......................

Counter people there on WED for mold and want to install on moving day..so we may have to change moving day..can't have workers and movers there together....they need lots of room to get through the house. Nothing has gone right...It will be nice when done but I will be tired and not know where anything is for years!!!!!!

Happy..I don't like clutter either but have too much stuff.......don't like human or cat hair or dog hair either..but it will always be there..DH and the cats shed

Hi ladies-still tired from working and catching up which included a big grocery shopping.
getting along very well with my dil-she is on a medicine for anxiety which I always thought affected her greatly. It's like a miracle. tomorrow they will dedicate Rebekah in church. And at night we go to a party for a 1 year old.
Finally going to be nice today-I need to take care of my plants.
Oh Candace-you will be glad when this is over. And it will be.

I have been having a lot of computer problems.. Going to high speed on friday. They said tha t should take care of it.. Along with that, my water heater quit, the arthritis in my foot is no better.. We went to rebekah's dedication at church-she spent most of her time looking up at the Pastor and smiling. What a doll.
Went to the bd party and it poured so they couldn't cook right away-wound up eating a quick hot dog and didn't stay for cake-which I shouldn't eat along with the hot dog. Pain today but massage today.
Brad could help you with the watewr heater if we were near you, Joanne, Glad you like your new sneakers-I pd 90 for my New Balance and like the Dr Scholls better. Everyone's feet are different.

Good morning. It's been q quiiet week here. Tammy-we all save that paper work. We have tons of it from the business-too much to shred-Brad wants to burn it, But then we are not supposed to.
Yesterday we had a luncheon-auction to raise money for the missions-it's a yearly event. It sure was fun-I got a Stainless coffee service that a friend of mine donated for 7$. I didn't like that the paraffin wax treatment my granddaughter gave me-shame on me but I probably wouldn't have used it-only brought $2. But that's the way it goes. Now I know they don't bid much money so I won't donate anything i don't want to give away.
Again, symtoms of a UTI. At least it's not the weekend. And an attack of IBS/diverticulosis yesterday.
I get to stay home today-I am making a cover for my recliner-not a slipcover-just a cover. And my sewing machine is driving me crazy-I miss my other one so much. And I do have a better one in FL.
We are supposed to be in NC on the 3rd of October-a month and a half to get ready.

Hello Ladies. Hope everyone is well. Anyone had any experience with gallbladder attacks? I had one Tuesday night. Was pretty uncomfortable. I was up twice with bile coming up in my mouth and threw up once. I've been hurting kind of behind my breast bone and the pain goes through to my back. I just thought it was the inflamation of the sternum again but I guess it was gallbladder this time. I thought it felt a little different than before plus it was a lot worse after I ate and at night. I read up on it and I have most of the symptoms but no temp. Most of what I read said best thing to do is treat it with diet rather than have surgery. That's what I've been trying to do but there's not a lot you can eat. Mainly fruit and veggies and there are even some of those you can't have. No meat hardly or eggs ... you can have fish. No white flour, no beans, nuts, sweets, oils or greasy or fast foods. No coffee, tea, juices or soda and no artificial sweeteners. It hasn't been easy. I've been having whole wheat toast and green tea for breakfast, no lunch ... tho I could have salad and tuna. For dnner I've been having a little meat or fish and salad and maybe a sweet potato. It's been 3 days and I feel a little better. But I can't keep this up because of the anemia. I'm going to go buy some fish and tuna tomorrow and some more fruit and try to stay on it a little longer.

My manicurist has been doing a terrible job on my nails. I have acrylic put on them because they break and split. They are dry from the meds I take. I went to the beauty supply and bought a kit and tried 'one' myself tonight and I was so proud. It looks great. I told hubby, though, that it was on my left hand. I might not do so well when I try to do one on my right hand WITH my left hand. I've never tried it before I've just watched them do mine for years. Hubby said, wait a week and see if it stays on before I get too excited!

Joanne, did you get my email? I sent Joanne an email and she didn't know who I was. Funny. How is you little dog? Ginger is getting smart on me (about time)! She is learning tricks. I've taught her to sit, shake 'hands' and play dead. We're working on 'roll over' now. Hubby and I have rented a Chalet in the Smokeys for 4 nights Labor Day Weekend and we're taking her. Should be an interesting vacation since she's never been anywhere except here and the vets overnight. She hurt her leg a month or so ago and we're afraid to leave her anywhere. It's getting better and we're afraid she'll hurt it again. The vet said her kneecap is going out of place but it's a lot better, she hardly limps at all now. The surgery for that is $1200 so we're taking precautions to keep it better. Here's the link for where we're staying:

Meme, I had several gall bladder attacks many years ago. I thought each time that I was having a heart attack. I tried different diets to control it, but I ended up having the surgery. I missed a couple weeks of school, and I have had no problems since then. I want to stay at the mountain chalets too!!! Beautiful!!!

Tim and I just got home from the county fair. We were there last night too. Saw lots of people we knew. It's a pretty big deal around here. We know that our county fair is larger than many state fairs.

Hey Everybody... Meme- How could I know those jokes were from you. It just said Maxime..?? My Christie had the same problem with her leg/knee..The vet said she should learn to deal with it or it would be surgery. I am so glad she learned to deal with it. She doesn't even limp or have it go out of place anymore.. A good thing too. She is so full of mischief and energy as it is.. We went up into the mountains near Gatlenburg a few times.. Our daughter used to take us. Now they have a 5th wheel and spend a lot of their extra time camping.. Not so much my style..I need a real bed..Our son has had a few gall bladder attacks.. He usually ends up in ER. It takes awhile but he passes the stones..Very painful

Tammy-I haven't been to a county fair in years.. I used to go to the one here in Pinellas but I don't think they have had one in years.. The State fair in Tampa has gotten too hard for the hubby so we haven't been there either.
I got the high speed and have spent the last two days cancelling the things they tact on that cost more money.. What is so hard to understand that all I wanted to pay for was H/speed and free long distance??
