i had another good workout last night, followed by dinner with THE cutest guy who is on my project team (he would be perfect if only i didn't work with him!) i had just finished a run and some weights and could have totally downed a bunch of carbs and protein.. but instead had a red pepper soup which was delic and caprese salad..yum! this morning i treated myself and had a latte and some reduced fat coffee cake...i'll let that be my treat of the weeekend
im going to have to keep practicing this self control as i am going to austin to visit a friend this weekend...i will try to keep all the excess calories to alcohol consumption only!! dollypie - that fish sounds so good!!! i will definitely have to try that next time..do you usually just ask for a piece of grilled fish with salsa on the side? i also agree that short, intense workouts are good..i definitely need to work more of those in. i've gotten in the habit of always running about 5 miles on the treadmill followed by some weights..but i could definitely improve my fitness by substituting some of those long runs with interval sprints! maybe you can be my inspiration
