Hi, guy! I'm so far from a veggie-a-day it's scary! Reading over this thread has kind of made me want some, though. The ideas are great.

I haven't made this in a long time, so this isn't a "report" of a daily veg, but Leenie's broc salad made me think of mixed greens with a hot bacon, oil and vinegar dressing that I learned from my mom. She used sugar in the dressing, but anything kind of sweet would work. Poured it over things like spinach, kale, field greens.

Cauliflower is wonderful, you just haven't had it made right frozen stuff is gross but a big ol fresh head cooked just tender with a sauce on it can be rather good.

LOL

I like cauliflower, sort of. My mother used to pickle it. Maybe I posted this before, sorry if it's a repeat. Also, the cauliflower mashed "potatoes" are good.

I've been eating wraps for two days since I found a whole wheat tortilla brand without sugar, cornstarch, or modified food starch. Have had fresh baby spinach with various other fillings and also apples and cream cheese per a recipe from 3FC poster Eydie!

My mom used to cook cauliflower with either a cream sauce drizzled over top or she would put some butter in a pan, then throw in some bread crumbs and let it bubble up a bit (just a little bit of bread crumbs), the butter would some what cook the bread crumbs and then she would pour it over fresh cooked cauliflower... MAN is that good and so simple.

MMM those wraps sound good !!!! Yesterday for lunch I had (buffalo wrap) grilled ckn in a buffalo sauce w/tomato's and lettuce in a wrap (slurp).
