I probably shouldn't be such a smart-arse but I couldn't stop myself emailing this to the beeb:

I got my first 'big challenge', to be completed while watching TV. I was wondering if there will be a 'watch less tv' challenge in future?

The research discussed by Doug Critser in 'Fat Land' demonstrates a
strong correlation between obesity and time spent watching tv.

I wonder if they'll reply?

>> think the thing you are talking about with the guy who ate the McDonalds is called "Supersize Me". http://www.supersizeme.com/ I really want to watch it too.

Hey all-I saw it a few months ago. I was most amazed by seeing the parents have no control over what their children ate on a daily basis-don't they give them the cash flow?

What did everyone think of last nights proggy then?

I got my BBC FAT NATION pack yesterday. I love the pedometer. but I get nowhere near 10000 steps a day! I am lucky to reach a thousand!

I'm not too sure about the proggy. I also watch the bbc3 half hour at 21:00hrs. I like the beeb 1 presenter best. Has anyone cleared out their fridge yet?

I did the bum clenches and and got a kind of 'cramp' sensation for 2 days which makes me think I must have the flabbiest bum ever. I havent even seen the programme I just joined when I read this thread. I haven'tcleaned my fridge yet.

I haven't watched it for two weeks and if they have lost me as a viewer then who is watching? I got my big challenge pack today I have my pedometer on, 202 steps I have just got up though. The tape measure is scary, It has different colours on it, I'm on the dark red bit, I think I'm meant to be dead or beyond help or something there are no helpful tips like the light red 'lose weight take more action' bit.

I watched the first episode and gave up after that. I sort of have issues whilst watching 'diet' programmes ~they make me hungry!

I started watching 'Fit/Fat club at the start of last year and put on the weight loss of all the celebrities on it!
