Yay Kim! ..K.. so I see htey have extended the sign up deadline till the 7th of January..the teams should be announced shortly after that.. latest should be the 9th i would say... then there is a getting to know your team week adn then it starts officially and each Sunday is the weight in deadline.. although you may weigh in at anytime during the week to suit your current schedule..each person gets two "freebies" which you can use anytime through out the challenge and not have to weigh in.. they are good if you know you are out of town or had a an unexpected gain..etc.. but when they are gone.. they are gone and if you miss weigh in after that you are "eliminated" but are more then welcome to stay on as an unoffical member, just ineligible to be named the biggest loser in the end.. lol Also to be named biggest loser, you must participate at least once a week int eh weekly chat.. there are nutrition and exercise log threads that are set up for each team to utilize but is not required.. it is all around pretty cool! That is all i remember right now.. lol haha

ok now i'm all excited too, I just signed up as well, I've been wanting some sort of exercise challenge to go along with my ww and this sounds perfect!!! I have a bday and anniversary during those 13 weeks so I'm psyched about having two freebies to use if I need them.. sounds like an excellent challenge!

I will be needing those freebies as well. In the next 3 months I have 4 big trips planned, 2 of which are all inclusive in Mexico. All are celebrations, and I am going to have to practice portion control in order to lose or even maintain.

i have 30 points, 1 over the minimum. i signed up for the three months. after that, i'll have to see how i'm doing then. i signed up to see how they are rating food, like fruit is now free. today i saw that even though i had a paper thin whole wheat crust of pizza with lots of veggies, it was the entire 30 points. my guess is because it had whole milk mozzarella cheese instead of the skim mozz. other than the regular version of cheese, nothing else in there was really unhealthy food, and it was actually my food for the day.

i do believe that in years past they didn't allow enough food, even when i did it about 2005. i suspect that is part of the reason why i see people who had wls and they said they had tried all the popular diets, including ww,and lost and gained. it's awfully hard to restrict yourself long term if you are too hungry. so for me, i'm still deciding.

The big thing with the pizza is not just the cheese, it is the high carbohydrates particularly the crust. That is not to say that it is unhealthy but it is a lot of points.
