I can understand both sides. When I'm totally eating junk food, I could eat a huge bag of chips in one sitting. Two hours later eat a cheeseburger. And maybe finish the day out around 3,000 calories. Once you know the calorie count, it is shocking to see how much you can really eat. As we all know when we eat junk, we are never satisfied. We are hungry all the time, no matter how much we eat.
On the other hand, when I make healthy choices and eat foods that are good for me, I'm just not hungry. I am satisfied. So this has been a bit challenging for me to get all the points in. I had 9 left last night. I hate having to "force" myself to eat yet again. LOL! (I never thought that would be a problem.) But, I have figured out that I will plan my meals ahead of time and add some higher point foods in to reach my daily 29 points. For example, I added some chopped walnuts to my oatmeal this morning just to get in more points per meal. That way I won't have them left at the end of the day. I've been eating 3 fruits/day and that keeps me from desiring a snack. I'm hoping as I bump up my exercise that will increase my appetite and I can eat all my points without it seeming like a chore.
