K, zeff...what is an egg white puff.....and what is chia fresca???
I made some egg white "rolls" the other day. I can't remember where I found the recipe...but it was egg white mixed with cream of tartar...beaten until stiff....then fold in a mixture of the yolks and ricotta cheese and parmesan cheese....blob on a cookie sheet and bake. They took the place of rolls for dinner What can I say...my family ate them, so I guess they weren't too bad.
B - decaf coffee w/sf creamer, 2 eggs, 1 turkey bacon, V8
S - none
L - DH decided we should eat out at a Mexican resturant so I had a chicken fajita w/o the tortilla but with extra lettuce. I ate about half and was full so tossed the other half (probably a first for me). Had iced tea with splenda to drink.
S - none
D - Wasn't hungry but knew I needed to eat so had chicken wraps with ff cream cheese, chopped tomato and onion and lots of lettuce.
I'm looking forward to what tomorrow brings..........

ha! sorry, i forget sometimes that not everyone speaks my lingo. egg white puff = 2 egg white, beaten in a bowl, microwaved for 30 seconds - 1 minute, then plopped out on a plate and topped with hot sauce. basically microwaved scrambled eggs....which actually don't taste bad and doesn't dirty a pan.
chia fresca is a liquid (i usually use brewed, iced white or green tea) mixed with chia seeds. I threw some strawberries in mine yesterday. there is a thread somewhere relatively recent about chia seeds.
---
1: chocolate cherry smoothie (almond milk, vega smoothie infusion, choc. brown rice protein, frozen cherries, spinach)
2: big ol' salad w/ hummus instead of dressing, a few bites of a mediterranean wrap
3: half banana w/ almond butter
4: some sort of soup - either pumpkin black bean chili or sweet potato, kale and lentil soup.
5: glass of red wine
Oh yes, I have microwaved scrambled eggs a lot, especially at work. I usually throw in either a dollop of lf cream cheese....or a laughing cow cheese wedge, makes 'em nice and creamy
ha ha..when I read the fresca thing...I was thinking of the soda, fresca...lol
mmmm...fresca. really though, the chia frescas are good. kind of a weird texture, but you get used to it (sort of reminds me of that old soda - orbitz). i love using flavored teas, lots of ice and a few berries or lemon wedges. it's really refreshing and the chia has lots of fiber to fill you up.
janda - check the serving size on the back of the package. i checked mine and they said 1 oz. (dry weight). it's not much. I usually eyeball it by taking a loose, small handful.

P 2
1: chocolate cheesecake smoothie, vitatop
2: spinach, cut veggies and hummus - basically a finger salad
3: banana w/ almond butter
4: either lettuce wraps or the asian chicken slaw (both from kalyn's kitchen)
5: light beer (blech)
Staying at my parents house this weekend, so I went off plan a bit last night. Not thrilled, but proud of limiting it. Used to be when I'd go to my folks house I wasn't done eating until I felt sick, then I'd take a break and graze some more. Going again tonight, so I'll see how I do.
B-Apple and sf natural pb
L-Flatout veggie pizza with salsa, broccoli, a little mozzerella and bell peppers. Also snacked on a really yummy tofu-based ranch dressing I threw together
D-Sweet potato chips w/dip, handful of roasted chickpeas, green salad with pear, bleu cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette
S-taking up some veggies and the tofu dip so I can have something good to snack on while hubs, dad, and bro enjoy their "man food."

Good morning everyone. Sprinkling here in northern Calif but is a good change. The first rain that we've had since Spring so it is welcome.
After droping 14 pouds so far on phase one, my body has decided to say, hey wait a minute here, what is happening and I'm holding at the same weight for the third day but that is alright as I am staying op and sooner or later the scale will move again. No worry!
Had a good op day yesterday and am off to a good start this morning.
