I weighed in this morning and, despite being in the middle of TOM, saw a loss of .8 pounds. Hopefully, there'll be an even bigger loss next week. I think this is the lowest I have been since high school!!! I'm excited

I had lost 3 lbs since I started the dvd but I weighed myself this morning and gained it back. I was bad last night and had pasta from pizza hut with 2 bread sticks and hot cocoa. It was like 10 pm at night. I'm sort of upset at myself. Nobodies perfect and today is another day. I've come so far that one screw up isn't the end of the world. As long a I reach 155 at the end of this month I'll be happy. I have 2 more wks to lose 5 lbs.

WOW, congrats everyone!! You're all a bunch of LOSERS! Hehehe!

Jelbb, I agree about your amazing willpower with the rice. I mean hot d***, lady! I'm like Elwing--the amount of good judgment I have is inversely proportional to the amount of alcohol I've consumed... But I am quite impressed with you! Perhaps the next time I'm contemplating a drunken binge, I'll think of you and stop! LOL.

WELL, today I weighed in at 212.0 on the dot, which is a 0.4 lb gain since yesterday. I suppose I should be disappointed, but actually I'm pretty happy with it, because I would have expected it to be much more than that, heh. I went out for dinner last night, and even though I ordered something reasonably healthy and only ate half (the rest will be my lunch today! yea!), everything at restaurants is packed with calories. And ok, it probably didn't help that I had a couple bites of my friend's dessert. So I was expecting a 1-1.5 lb gain, which is what I usually see the morning after a restaurant meal. But nope! 0.4 lbs? I'll take it! Haha. I'm sure it'll be gone by tomorrow... Plus, since this is officially the 3rd day that I've been ~212 lbs, I am changing my ticker!!!

211.2 lbs today! Woo-hoo! I'm glad to see that I'm busting right through that teensy weekend gain... And getting ever-closer to the 200s. Hopefully I'll be able to change my ticker to 211 tomorrow!

Okay, so I was running REALLY late for school this morning. I woke up at 7:35 and my class starts at 8:30, so I was still stumbling, and half-asleep when I dragged myself to the bathroom and weighed myself. If I'd been truly awake, logic would've informed me that catching the bus in time was a higher priority than weighing myself obsessively. I was either... 156.2, or 156.8... for some reason, I can't remember. EITHER WAY, I was under 157 which was my goal for yesterday, and that made me SUPER pumped.

Chele615:
Yay!!! I get significantly heavier during my TOM, so I bet you're gonna down when it all finishes up!

Meredith:
Lol, believe me, I'm usually the same way. I think the thing that I'm finding about this new diet is that I don't feel as restricted as I normally do... with "the rules" of my diet, I could still eat french fries if I really wanted to, or potato chips. I could still have ice cream, or any other sweet dessert that doesn't have gluten or wheat. The fact that I know I'm ALLOWED to have these things... makes it a lot easier to say no to them, surprisingly! Because I could indulge a little bit and not kill myself with guilt, ya know? Hopefully this wheat-gluten-free thing keeps running its course.
My mother is a firm believer that something about the removal of wheat/gluten from your diet must kick-start your metabolism or something, because she hasn't changed her exercise level, and has still kept over 60 lbs off for over a year... hopefully it'll work the same for me, since I AM adding a bit more exercise.

YAY!!!!! Good call on changing your ticker!! Look't you at 211!!!! That's so exciting!!!

Blcarter84:
YAY! Hope it was down a little bit more for you!!
...seriously, how's your back? Every time I see you post, I think, "Man, I hope her back is doing better." (That's a bit weird of me, huh... I've thrown out my back a couple of times thanks to heavy book bags, so I wince for any pain that picking up your so caused you...)

mjluva829:
Hey sweetie, don't put TOO much stock in your mini goals. You can't always control when your body decides to hit a plateau... so we can't always realistically meet or beat the time goals that we set out for ourselves.

That being said, if you've hit a plateau despite being hardcore OP, here are a few tips to break through your plateau!!

YelleeGil:
Hehe, yay for being a little obsessive. I just try to learn not to freak out over the number, because I know there will be little ups and downs.

MonteCristo:
Congrats on the loss!!!!!!!!!!!
