Lucille- I was referring to the calorie break down on fitday.com
For instance, fitday tells me my basal calories are 1987. Which means, in my research, I can eat 1987 calories a day and still lose weight. I should burn 894 calories based on my lifestyle (also from fit day) which would amount to a 1.8 lb loss/week. Then if I add in 30 minutes of exercise a day that would give me about 170 calories extra burned, which brings me to 1064 calories burned a day, or 7448/week which should, in theory, amount to a 2lb/week FAT loss alone, not including any water loss I would get along with that. Does that make sense?
Then as my weight decreases and so does my basal calories, I would eat less OR exercise more to make up the difference

I hope everyone else is doing well and OP! It's been quiet here lately. Where is everyone? Hope to hear from ya'll soon.
