  • Hey everyone,

I'm new here and, I'm stuck in the 160s too. =(
I started at 167.3 and that was 24 days ago. Today I'm 160.9! So close but I've been at exactly 160.9 for 3-4 days now! >.<

    Good luck everyone! =)
  • Hello,
I was wondering if you don't mind if I join you girls. I am 170 but if you guys are cool about it. I would love to have your support.
  • so, i recently moved out of the 160's....the WRONG way ( but I got back on track and am at 167 right now. I went to a free "bootcamp" training at my gym yesterday and whew and I sore!!! But, determined... I HAVE to get this weight off!!!!
  • I think I was in this thread once before ( ), but I'm back again. I must admit to being completely sick of the 160s. Jan 1st I weighed 165.....today I weight 165. In between I've weighed anywhere from 172 to 154. 2010 will not look this way.
  • hi guys! i am so close... but i find that last pound or last couple of pounds is always so hard to lose when i'm sitting at 161 or 171 etc.

i am afraid to weigh myself this morning. i may or may not have indulged in the vast array of christmas treats in my office yesterday. and because i am working through christmas (even christmas day! boo) this will be a daily battle. an orange doesn't always cut it when you have a double-decker box of gourmet chocolates sitting in the same room. hahaha.

good luck to everyone! i will get my butt to the gym today. i have to hit 159 in the next few days as part of my new years goal, so hopefully i'll see some of you soon in the 150s thread!
  • Ok, this thread is getting close to 500 posts and started to be buried, but I bet we can kill it off with style.

It's a new year and I'm back on track. I only went up about 1 lb over the holidays, but that puts me with about 5 lbs to go to get out of the 160s. I'm hoping to be outta here by the end of February!
  • I was almost out of the 160's, but with the holidays--Halloween, Thanksgiving and X-mas, I've gained some of the weight back. Presently, I'm trying to get back on track with exercising three times a week.
  • I have battled with 5 lbs for about a year taking me from 155-160, so I would also like to get serious about getting out of the 160's for good! I plan to exercise 5x a week for at least 15-20 mins. I know the time may not be what others are doing, but I am setting small goals for myself until I set a workout routine for myself that I can stick with.
  • I weighed in at 161.8lbs today. I might stay another week or two in this thread, but then I'll see you all in the 150's!
  • I've been in the 160's since having my baby!! THREE YEARS AGO!

  • Me too! Me too!!
Hi everyone! I just found this forum today! I am so excited to have a support group, aahhh!

Last June I got down to 150--the wrong way--for my sister's wedding. After it was over (when I didn't have a dress to fit into), I ate everything in site! By August I was up to 173 and just felt ICK. I have now been in the 160s since September.

I was down to 164 before the holidays, but Christmas and New Year's set me back a good 3 pounds! I weighed-in on Jan 2nd at 167, at the start of my healthy new life. I've been eating between 1200-1500 cals a day for almost a week now, and I have exercised 3 times--cardio and weights! I weigh-in on Saturday, and I'm hoping to see that I've lost a pound or two!

    Come on 150s
  • Down 2 lbs for the week
  • I weighed in at 169 today and I can't wait to get out of the 160's! Last fall I weighed 155 and thought I was sooo gross and fat. Never did I imagine I would long to weigh 155 again, but alas... here I am - ready to get to work!
  • I'm at 161.0 this morning. I hope to get down to the 150's soon. Unfortunately every routine I have tried isn't helping. I'm trying to find what method is best for me. I hope that I can stick to it this time.
  • Shorty28- 161 is sooo close!! KEEP at it What routines are you talking about? I've tried low-fat, I've tried low-carb, and I've tried exercise alone. The thing that works for me is simply calorie counting. I have heard though that if you've hit a plateau, try switching your method for a few days, and then go back to what u were doing, so your body can kind of reset. I've yet to try it (not been at this long enough to plateau lol), but other chicks have said it works.

After 10 days of dieting and such, I'm down to 162.4 today, I'm hoooooooping to be out of the 160s early next week!
