Hi everyone!
In two week's time my whole life kind of got turned upside down. I’ve been skimming over the last couple week’s posts and just wanted to say “welcome” to the new people and glad to hear so many of you are doing well with your plans.
2Fru – I love that pic of you at the finish line. I would frame that for sure! Also, your new routine sounds killer. Good luck.
nelie – Hope you’re doing better and you’re getting the fatigue issue figured out.
Our trip to Wisconsin was beautiful, and I couldn’t picture a more perfect wedding day. I’m so excited for my sis and new brother-in-law.
My indoor pictures didn’t turn out the best but I just looked at some of the proofs from the professional photographer online and they are gorgeous!
Here’s me with my cousin and other sister.

While we were in Madison following the wedding my bf received his formal job offer after his interview and I had a really good interview with a potential employer for a position I’m very interested in, we looked at 7 places up for rent and selected a nice big 2br apartment (for which we will pay 56% of what we currently pay for our 1br!) and the lease signing is in the works. The moving truck will come to pick up our stuff two weeks from tomorrow, arrangements have been made to ship my car, and bf and I will start driving halfway across the country with the dog on the following Sunday. It should take us 4 days via the route we’ve planned. We're so excited! I resigned from my job and will be very busy tying up loose ends for the next couple weeks.
So that’s what I’ve been up to. Sadly keeping an eye on what I’m eating and sticking to my regular workouts has kind of slipped through the cracks. I’ve been hitting the gym hard this week, even got back to some UB lifting after a hiatus due to my shoulder injury. It’s mostly dull pain now if any, and almost no sharp pain any longer, so I think working with some lighter weights and stretching can only speed up the healing process at this point. Also, not lifting made me kind of crazy, and do you know how fast your muscles disappear after you stop lifting? Can you say atrophy? I’m still on the c25k plan, even though I missed a couple runs while out of town I’m back on track. I’m going to research gyms to check out when I get to Madison so I can get right back into the swing of things after the move.
Hope everyone is having a good week!
