Today I picked up a mom from preschool and her two kids (one from Kyle's preschool...she's in one of the pictures...the girl at the end with the dark hair) and we went to Old McDonald's Farm about 20 mins away. Cute little kids farm with goats galore and bunnies and chickens with chicks following them around and a hay ride and a dairy barn tour (stinky, but informative). What a ton of fun. I go there about once or twice a year. Tomorrow I have my interview at Penney's and I have to cut my mom's hair and pretend to foil highlight it and put in some perm rods. Should be fun. I have to wear my only dress that fits me and (gasp!) HIGH HEELS!! I fully intend to buy some decent slacks adn some nurses shoes to work in...I know they're ugly, but since I've aged from 20 to 40, my feet and calves are the only part of my body that hasn't aged or has at least stayed the same size, and I don't want to ruin it with uncomfortable shoes and bring on vericose veins and bunnions.
Besides, I'll be able to cut hair better if I'm comfortable. Okay...I think some quick replies...
BOB: I'm so happy for you that you love your new job. You soooo deserve it. Yes, I got my CHEVY!! and I LOVE IT!!
Laurie: I don't care how much drinking vinegar helped to lose weight...I'd have to seriously pass on that!! Congrats on the hit!! Nothing like a shot to the ole ego!!
Monet: So glad your pool cleared up...pools are a pain.
Solly: Blisters are the PITS. Hope it heals fast and you can enjoy your picnic this weekend. SEe my reply to Laurie for my thoughts on vinegar. I think it should be saved for fake volcanoes and easter eggs...jmho.
Thin: So glad Sean is on the mend. My kids (all three of them...shelley, kyle and derek, my husband
) have been playing Kingdom Hearts 2 on the PS2 for about a month. They just finished it and now Derek's coming home with Final Fantasy 10 for them to get into.
At least I'll have time to read a book on the porch while they play it. I'm not the least bit interested in the game systems. Talitha: Glad you got some alone time with Travis. How nice to walk down memory lane with him...if only you could have see 13 years into the future 13 years ago to see yourselves walking along with you up to your gills with a baby!!
BY the way..how did the meeting go? I'm thinking about ya!!
SEF:
You sounded sad in your last post...How are you doing today? Have you been able to avoid the rice? I'm glad you figured out the color thingy. ANN: 1.5 down is better than 1.5 up!! Keep it up and you'll be down ten before you know it. Did you make to swimming?
Okay...I think that's everyone. Gotta get the lil shavers to bed. Talk to you guys tomorrow...wish me luck on my interview!! Having 10 years under my belt as a Penneys Stylist should make me a shoe-in...but stranger things have happened.
I'll let you know how it all goes. Good night!! Kris

I am so glad Vicky's visit went well, and Ted was surprised. I wish I could find some nice walks like you are doing to enter. I can handle three miles with no trouble, I think five would not be bad, and seven would be a great motivating goal to try and reach.
Yay on that five gone! Well done!
