Hi everyone!
I just joined Curves on Saturday and I've been every day (except Sun.) since! I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere there and it's like exercise for ADD people. You don't have to sit still!! I told my DH that it was like musical chairs only with sweating!

I'm just recovering from a hyster. and am almost 7 weeks post-op, so I'm going more days, and with less intensity until I build up my energy level. I figure it's better to go each day at about 50% and build up than to worry about overdoing it and hurting myself.
I have just been sitting around since my surgery and have managed to gain 25 pounds in 6 weeks!

Is that a record? Yucko! I am type 2 diabetic and really need exercise and weight loss to get my bg under control! I'm doing Sugar Busters again, which I lost 45 pounds on in 2002, and then gained it all back plus 20 pounds when I decided I was skinny enough and could go back to eating junk food... WRONG!
So now with eating right, and CURVES, I hope to trim and tone the beautiful CURVES I have
