  • well, i had my WI this morning and I was down 2lbs since my start date!

Christian- glad to hear cleaning the house is as much of a workout for you as it is for me! That's the one workout that I haven't been able to rationalize away!

mompen- i started doing pilates again after a looong "break" and dang! it's tough! my husband heard me grunting and sighing melodramatically from the other room and thought something was wrong! I like it though because i really do start to feel results quickly, much more than like abs of steel etc.
  • I'm in 1/2 lb a week isn't bad. I sort of set a goal time limit for myself but this would be great. I have been exercising 6 days a week I would like to go for 7 days. With the 7th not being so much as the rest of the days.
6 days of the week, I do 3 mile walk and Tae Bo
7th day, hoping to just do Tae bo or just an Ab workout (15 minutes)
My husband tells me I shouldn't push too much and give myself at least one day to rest.
  • Welcome RaKKoon Glad to have you aboard
melra- Great job on the 2 pounds lost...you are getting closer and closer
  • HI all. I loss 1.25 lbs this week. so happy with me. changed tops groups and tops plan and i am doing ok. 2 lbs from goal and becoming a KOPS again. but i will do it. then going for below goal. and then will lose kops again till i reach a new goal. then that i stay. going for 30 more lbs. this is my time of year to lose. so going for it. got cucumbers coming on now and love them. tomatoes soon i hope. exercising more and drinking that water. good luck to all you friends. by labor day hope to be close. LaDean
  • LaDean, Congrats on the loss!

Rakkoon~ wow--I really admire all the exercise goals you have. I think if you're body can handle it, go for it, and then if you feel like you're getting burned out, you can always ease off. Or you can also consider a "relaxing" workout, like some yoga or pilates. I'm not very good at yoga (yet) but it sure makes me loosey-goosey afterward!

I'm off on holiday all next week, so I went ahead and weighed myself early (couldn't stand it!) and I'm down another 3 pounds--surprising, considering my workouts were blech this week. We'll see how I am when I get back on the 15th!
  • thanks, scales are dropping daily for me. gave up all pop. so must have been it. ha oh well what ever i am taking it and loving it. got till wed. tops. sure not blowing this one. only 1/2 from goal this am again. so i am going for it and below this time. then i will keep losing after i get 7 below. got more to lose. so going for it. and a new goal. this is my time of year i lose. so working out that way anyhows. garden time. have a good day to all. LaDean
  • Way to go Ladean! Dropping the pop was what got me to dropping weight quicker than I ever did by just eating well....Way to goal
  • i know it's been a long time since i posted. hope it's not too late to join the challenge. if it's not, then my starting weight for the challenge will 216.75.
  • Glad to have you back ciecie.....missed you girl
  • Keep those losses coming ladies!!! Looking good
  • thanks for the welcome back!
  • Hello all! Just checking in! How's everyone doing on their goals?

I had a WI in this morning and had no change. I expected it b/c of vacation last week, but I'm really hoping for another 1-2 pounds next week. I've been doing really well on eating lately and haven't even had a lot of cravings lately, so I feel really good about myself. I'm going to work harder on exercise though b/c I let myself get a little lazy before vacation .

Good luck to us! Only 3 weeks (less than!) for the Challenge!
  • 18 days till Labor Day ladies.... Keep up the good work, and know we have nothing to lose but weight and health to gain...
  • i have been doing very well considering all the stress i have been under.
  • Sending hugs and prayers and <<<<<<<<<good vibes>>>>>>>> to you ciecie
