  • Linda....I hope all goes well with Allida. I know an adult that just went through the same thing, and she came through with flying colors.....and they always say children bounce back much easier than us "old" folks As far as the surprise wedding for my husband.....I have no doubts he will love it. This is the most romantic man I have ever met in my life, and if I live to be 100, I will never be able to repay him for all the wonderful surprises he has blessed me with.

Sheri....I read about the Wendie plan too, and yes, it does make sense. I have had a surprise at the scales when eating a little more than I expected, and come away with a good loss. It is worth a try! I am crossing my finger and toes for you that you stay below 200!

I have had a good week so far. I found Boca Italian Sausages at the market last night....2 points, with a lite 1 point bun, and it was delicious! I love my Boca burgers, and this will be an added treat for the grill this summer. I also made a dessert last night of crushed graham crackers in a little dish, banana yogurt w/ some real banana slices, ff cool whip spread over the top and more crushed graham crackers. It was filling and very good/low point.

Hope everyone is having a great week, and will chat again soon.

  • Loodie -- Here's a prayer for your little, second-cousin, Allida. God bless her and your family. Please let us know how she is doing.

No. We are not doing all the work on Jen's "wish list". Maybe one day -- if we win Megabucks.

Gotta go. I went to my first Avon sales meeting tonight and was out later than I planned. Met some very nice people though. I'm just going to have a bowl of cereal and hop into bed. Hubby and the kids are already asleep.

  • Hi all, I'm stuck here at work until late tonight (running production jobs), so thought I would jot off a quick note to let you all know that Allida's surgery was a success per doctors. What exactly that means to Allida--only time can tell. Thanks for your prayers.

I was down .5 this morning--even after all the walking. I did better before I exercised.
  • Hey gals,

Well I am happy to report I was down 4.8lbs last night at weigh-in. Now you have to remember last week the MM was visiting and I wore jeans to weigh-in, so I know all 4.8 wasn't exactly fat, but was I shocked. I really wasn't miss perfection last week either. However, I am taking the loss and attempting to be OP this week.

I have to get to bed. Tomorrow night is my daughter's 8th grade dinner/dance (in place of a graduation). Hubby and I just rolled 300 mini-hotdogs!! We are working the food tables so tomorrow will be a late night!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

    Sheri
