Another woman somewhere of 3FC donated a pound of pet food for every pound she lost. I thought that was a neat idea.
Now THAT is a good idea. I used to work at an animal shelter, and they are usually in need of quality dog food. The shelter gets the Kibbles 'n' Bits kind as a donation all the time. But anything with red dye in it will give the dogs diarhea. I can't drop $50 right now on some quality stuff for the dogs, which is what they really need. So every time I lose a pound, I'll save whatever ratio of money needed to buy a 50 lb. bag.
It's been hard to get the calorie thing under control. Counting calories used to work so well for me. Slowly, I'm decreasing the cals every day. It used to be that I would decide one day to eat X amount of calories, and boom, I'd do it. Now it's taking a while for me to get down to that amount. Probably because this time I needed to lose 50 lbs. total instead of 20 lbs. So the target "diet" calories are way way under what I was eating to maintain 180.
Other life stuff: My friend and I got confused about where to meet for lunch last Friday. So I ended up eating at the buffet alone. It was awesome. Nan is an addiction. Plus anything with peas and curry.

Anyway, since my friend didn't make it last week, I'm going to try to convince her to go there today.
Happy Monday.
