I will not allow that.
One of the Oprah Super Soul Sunday guests that I heard a couple of weeks ago had a really good commentary that reflects what you just said -- I jotted these comments down, but failed to capture his name...

Here are the comments and I'll check on who it was (he has a book that seemed very timely for people like us who want to take a different path and avoid the re-gain):
"A 'comeback' is not a 'go back' "
"You cannot go back to what you were doing before and 'fix' it."
"Life is transformation, one step at a time. "

I posted this in daily chat but I'm posting it here as well. I guess I just need some advice:
I wish I had the option to go to another clinic. The people there are nice enough but yesterday when I went in, the receptionist all but rolled her eyes when she saw me. I can't help but believe it is because I don't buy a week's worth of product each time I go in there. When I first started IP (going into my 20th week now) I really stocked up on IP products so that I would have plenty of choices in those early weeks and not get bogged down with eating the same thing every day. I also read up on alternatives and ordered several things online. My pantry is very welled stocked. I probably have about 4 months worth of product on hand. I also do not buy their supplements (except for the salt but I will look for the Real Salt that Lisa mentioned above). I get mine online or at CVS (you have to check labels to find products that are close in what they provide). I order my WF products mostly from vitacost unless I have a code for WF website.
Basically what I am trying to say is they don't make money off of me regularly so I feel as if I am frowned on. My original coach quit to start her own business (unrelated to IP). She knew I used alternatives occasionally but was genuinely concerned with my success so she said "As long as it's working, I won't say anything." Now, with another coach, things may be different. I feel fairly confident that I would continue having great success on my journey if I went to using straight alternatives. I'm not sure why I don't just go ahead and do that. I had originally told my hubbie that I would stick to going to the clinic for 6 months and then decide. I am just about there. Any advice?
Thanks to all for being here.
frawniemae - If you can find another clinic that's a reasonable commute, and perhaps get some good reviews by clients of that clinic, I would change clinics.
Meanwhile, here's an idea... what if you take a photo of your pantry of IP products (maybe put the other brands out of view, behind the IP stuff - get a print that's 5x7, and also take a print of your before and progress so far pix. Put them into a little folder and take those into your coach -- suggest to them that you really feel you are a STAR IPeep, and they might want to be able to share your success to date with new potential clients who come into the clinic. I'd make sure the receptionist sees the pix. Also, it occurs to me that my very southern godmother from South Carolina would 'polite her to death' everytime she came in contact with her... I'll bet there is a Texan version of that.....
No matter what, maybe you ought to speak to the clinic owner about the receptionist -- is it a Chiropractor or some other kind of doctor, maybe. I would report the rolling eyes to the owner. You have invested a lot of money in that clinic, and you have several more months on your journey when you will likely buy at least half your products from IP (now that you have tried a week of no alts and had a nice loss). Or, maybe that receptionist looks at you and thinks you are never going to be able to really win at the weight loss game... or maybe she is jealous of your results to date... it's had to know for sure just what she's thinking, but that clinic owner should be aware of any employee in the clinic who is chastising or dissing clients, especially such good customer clients like you.
