Congrats Julie & Sheila! I don't think I'm going to make my goal -- I'd have to lose four pounds this coming week and the way it's been going -- not gonna happen
ugh. i usually weigh in every day but i haven't for the past 3 days. too many birthday party get together with friends! I am now 30 years old, does that I mean I have to grow up?
I figure if I avoid the scale for a few more days I might be pleasantly surprised when I weigh in...thats better than knowing now that I will be disappointed....
this might be the week that I either break even or even gain a little...but i'll let you'all know on Thursday.
Did not meet my goal of 205 for Labor Day but checked in this morning at 207.6. I think I started at 210. Not as much as I would have liked but still my lowest point to date on this journey.
I didn't make my July 4 goal, but with all the traveling in the past few months, I'm not surprised. I'm still pleased with where I am at, a whopping 52 pounds from my all time high last October. Now that I'm well below any recent low, I'm finally feeling like this is going to happen for me, in time. I want this for myself more than any donut, seafood vera cruz, pizza or tub-o-lard movie theater popcorn. But I also have come to realize that the occasional mac & cheese nugget is not going to kill me (it's a little wad of very yummy mac & cheese that is dipped in a batter, then deep fried---so tasty, but very rich, mom & I share an order if we get them).
So that's where I landed for my 4th goal, about 6 pounds shy of the goal, but in a much better place as far as the overall outlook for the longterm success.
