  • This is my first challenge, and I'm really excited! My 18th birthday is at the end of March, so I'm going to make this a BIG goal. It will probably seem unreasonable to most of you, but I'm giving it a shot regardless. I'm cutting out a lot of excess calories, and drinking plenty of water (usually all I ever drink is Diet Coke) and the weight typically comes off fast for me in the beginning, so here is my March goal...

    SW: 245 pounds
    GW: 215 pounds
  • My March goals are:

    • Lose 5lbs to reach 139lbs (and finally be less than 10 stone!)
    • Finish c25k and start my new running program!
    • Keep on track despite workload (March is going to be a *****...)

    Sorry I've been MIA, school and job hunting have been keeping me busy.

    My March goal is to lose 8 lbs.

    Do 10 touch and go squats (see this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWvJ14cwwKU) and 10 pushups (wall, knee, standard - whichever you can do).
  • Day 1 of c25k done! My shins don't hurt, but my legs are a bit sore...
  • Good Morning!
    Yesterday was 100% OP - planing for another today. I got out and walked yesterday but couldn't get as far as I normally would because there is still lots of snow and my boots weren't up to fording the small ponds in the low lying areas. No matter - it was just nice to be outdoors walking in the fields and woods again!

    I am down 0.2 to 247.8 today. Like I said elsewhere this morning, it is a little slowly, but it's surely, so I'll take it!

    dcapulet - I plan on doing the C25k as well this Spring when it warms up a little bit outside. I'm going to be following everyone's progress over the next month or so to prepare for mine, so I just wanted to say good luck with yours!
  • Today was my first 100% OP day in along while. Counted every WW point and now I can rest well knowing I have done well in both food and activity.

    Have you tried the frozen meals they have I think they are called smart ones mmm so good I love the rigatoni with chicken and broccoli & the fettucini with broccolli I eat them for lunch a lot they are 5 or 6 points each oo so good!

    Im really struggling with finding balance. It's hard for me to stay on plan when im not totally consumed by exercising and eating. (and i cant be consumed like that when i have a 2 mth old ) anyway.. going grocery shopping today.. so at least having the right healthy options in my house will help!
    Making some hummus today. i love that stuff.. and its so easy to make.. although my bf gets a little upset when i go too crazy with the garlic...hahaha

    ophelia: I plan on stating c25k next month. shall we start it together? it's always good to have a partner!

  • Happy March. I got below 150 for the last few days of Feb., but on March 1st I was 150.4, so that's my starting number. Bummer. My goal will be to get to 145 (It seems like that's the long term goal I haven't and can't seem to reach).

    This is going to be a crazy month for me, with Mardi Gras that takes place in my neighborhood this Saturday (utter debauchery), and another big event later in the month with lots of eating and drinking and playing, so I'm going to have to work extra hard to stay on track.

    I had the flu over the weekend and am not quite right yet--achy and headaches, just blah, so exercise has been difficult.
