    I agree, Cherry!
  • I always take it as a compliment!! I know Im doing great job and people notice!! And so are YOU!!!!
  • Aww thanks
  • I agree - I think it's a well meaning comment. But seeing it in black and white lol makes it kind of seem not so nice!
  • I've decided that the only safe compliment to give in real life to someone losing weight is: "you're looking really fit!" So far as I know, no one has taken that as an insult.
  • After reading this, it seems much safer not to comment at all!

    Hehe, I like it
  • I am really sensitive to these type of comments when it comes to certain people. (I don't know if that makes sense or not.) If my Da were to say that, I would know to take it as a compliment because he has never been one to hand out compliments freely. We are a sarcastic kinda bunch and we tease the crap outta each other. Now if my [i]husband[/] said it...well then I would NOT take it as a compliment because I know what he is really thinking...he wants me to keep going and get the weight off.

I suppose it really IS meant as a compliment, but it is so easy to overanalyze the statement because we are so busy overanalyzing ourselves and our weight so much.
