I know, I know ... I shouldn't try to lose in a month what I've gained in YEARS!
As long as the scale is going South, that's all that matters. All we really need to remember is that if you cut your calories to less than half of what you consumed before, YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT! 
Hope your back is feeling better today. I occasionally have back problems, but knock on wood, not for awhile so I feel your pain!

Marzipan and gourmet chocolate were involved so NOT PRETTY!
I don't even know how far over my calories were so I will put it behind me and move on! NO SCALE today as I don't want to know ...
But I'm back on program as of this morning, and will be back on the scale tomorrow! (I did do a short walk yesterday, but really needed a LONG one ... but today will be better.)
I find just calorie-counting works best for me, though there are any number of good *official* plans ... I say, whatever works for you! My dates: I started Sunday, January 26 and will end this Challenge Sunday, March 2. I weigh in on Sundays, because that's when I started it. You can follow my schedule or set up one of your own. 
ceejay, using the FitDay is a good idea (I've done that before.) So glad you're getting going again here with us. Andrea, hope your back is getting better as the week goes on.
