Hey y'all - I have not had time to read all the posts yet today - I will get on it tonight - but I wanted to drop in and say hello!!

I took Hayden to school today - and then hauled myself over to Sephora and picked up some new BARE ESCENTUALS - since that is my new obsession - lol. And then - I sped back to the YMCA for SPINNING!! YES - I WENT today!! I have been slacking on that big time!!

My little angel made it all day at school today in the same pair of shorts and undies - hooray!! We have been casually working on the whole potty thing - but last Friday we trashed the diapers - and he's been good to go ever since!!!

And tonight - is MOM's NIGHT OUT!! We are going out for Mexican. ANY suggestions as to what would order would be appreciated it!! I am thinking the fajita salad - but I do not know - lol - this is a new place that I have never been and I'm starting to wane on my resolve.

I was down a pound today - hooray!! I won't get too excited - because for sure tonight I'm having a margarita or two - so I'm sure it will be back up a pound tomorrow!!

Ok - off to clean my house!

Heather - Check to see if they have a website with their menu. I find it easier if I can plan in advance. When I feel rushed to order, I often make bad choices. Also it is better to decide when you aren't hungry. I sometimes get grilled fish or shrimp at Mexican restaurants. Some of the ones in Dallas have black beans. Cozymel's even has low carb fajitas where they give you lettuce to wrap your fajitas in and grilled veggies instead of the rice. I'm not a big fan of salads but if you get one, make sure it isn't loaded with full fat sour cream and don't eat the taco shell if it comes in one.

Haha, that "wicked" just slipped in, batmomm, just like my Boston accent crops up every now and then! I think that's why I'm a writer -- no chance I'll drop my R's on the page. Hardest part is trying to explain to people what "wicked" really means.

I went to college in Western Mass. -- I just love it out there, but there are so fewer places to work.

Sounds like a great deal on your swimsuit! I never have trouble finding swimsuits -- the giant T-shirts I wear OVER them are another story....

Hey girlies. I have just been overwhelmed at work. WHEEEEEE is how I feel. I have a few minutes before church volleyball so I thought I'd pop on and say hi to everyone.

This may be torture for some of you to read, so if so, I'm sorry. I'm sucking on dark chocolate.... I'm going to get as much chocolate as I possibly can tonight because after tonight, I can't have chocolate until April 16. Terry's giving up sweets all together for Lent.... I'm not that brave. That would mean even things sweetened with splenda. I might die from that (or kill someone else.)

Easing myself back into exercise. Didn't work out last night.... coughing fit. I'm going to play volleyball tonight and tomorrow night and possibly run tomorrow, too. We'll see how I do.

I'm giving up chocolate for Lent too. And I'm going to try hard to say something nice to Brian and DH every day. Sometimes it is easy to forget when you get busy.

Hi everyone! It has been forever since I have been on here, but I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive! I just got swamped with research over the last week or so. And there's more to come...and will stay with me until July 21, my dissertation deadline. I had a chance to relax a bit tonight. DH and I had pancakes for dinner in honor of Shrove Tuesday (not on program, but oh well...) And I had a chance to put my feet up and RELAX.

Not doing the giving up something for Lent myself, although I admire those of you who are. In the last couple of years, my focus has been taking on a new spiritual/personal exercise, such as reading Scripture or taking more time to journal or meditate. I haven't thought of anything for this Lent, so I guess I ought to get on that, eh?

I'm going to try and read through the posts to catch up but for now I hope all of you are doing great!
