I might be almost to my NYE goal

But then I have to cope with 10 days in Japan! I just have NO IDEA how I'm going to cope, partly because I have no idea what I'm going to like to eat and what food they have and things. I'm thinking about taking food with me! But that's just crazy talk! I'm going to journal and I'm going to keep running (I hope) so hopefully it won't be too bad...

You guys must be a lucky charm as I've only got 3 pounds left now! Ta very much!

Also, just as an aside, walked up a massive hill saturday to watch the fireworks. Never would have done this before and it was a bit of a struggle but not as much as I thought it would be. And at the top it was magical - could see the fireworks all over the city.

Marvelous!

Yahooo! It's official! I'm under 12st! My New New Years Eve goal is to be at a "normal" weight (that's 11st 10lbs). That's BMI 24.9!

Well done everyone!

2 Frus - enjoy Japan. At least if you stick to typical Japanese food and not the dreaded Mac crap that has invaded everywhere you should be ok. It is not all raw fish. If you want to know about any of the food in particular - my friend used to live and teach there. I would google on some recipes if I were you but basically lots of fish, small amount of meat, rice, noodles, seaweed - the real stuff not the shredded cabbage we have in Chinese restaurants.

Yey! Hurrah! I have been sooo busy I haven't stepped on a scale since I started this challenge. I did mean to use this as a way to get myself organised.......

Never mind! I stood on the scales this morning and I have lost 2lbs!

Now I expect to find them again shortly, But just for today I feel good!!!

Can I join the challenge??? I know I'm a bit late but I've just been checking the website out, looking for motivation to get back into the whole weight loss thing after a fantastic week in Dubai. I'm hoping that some of the fantastic losses you've had will rub off...!

I'd like to lose 10lbs by Xmas (which is quite achievable as I've probably lost about 14 in the last 3 months- unfortunately they were all the same 2 pounds, gained and lost over and over and over.....!)

I have a beautiful dress for NYE which I've not worn for a few years as have been too big and and am still struggling to get my fat @$$ into it at the moment.

Back on the cross trainer later (after I've done the 4 piles of holiday washing in the kitchen) if the fact that I've been up since 4am deson't kill me!

I've decided to throw caution to the wind and aim for normal too. It would take a 10lb loss, which might be pushing it, but if I don't try, I'll never know.

12 stone, here I come!

Small things impress small minds (mine!)

I now have a New Years Eve tracker so had to post to show it off. Now just have to stick to the diet (today south beach with BAAAD carbs, a bit like Atkins and chips!)

Tomorrow will be better.
