Good Morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I did well and even enjoyed an order of A&W onion rings on Saturday and kept to my points. It is so nice to be able to eat like a skinny person. I am lovin' it! I weigh in tomorrow so I hope I have dropped at least 2 pounds or I won't make my Christmas goal.

I have a very busy week so I need to focus to make sure I eat properly and get in all my veggies and milk.

I made a new recipe for spaghetti sauce which I added some fiber to with beans and mushrooms and it turned out very well about 2.5 points for a cup. I have stopped eating garlic bread with pasta and added veggies instead, not quite the same but I am getting used to it a bit more now.

I was thinking we should start a new thread called Buddies losing big for Christmas so that others can join us, what do you think?

I like to find inspiration where I can and so I share a quote with you all today to start the week off right.

"There is no chance, no destiny, no fate,
That can circumvent or hinder or control
The firm resolve of a determined soul."
Ella Wheeler Wilcox

I know that right now we all have the firm resolve to lose weight and keep it off and we will continue with our determined souls until we reach our goals with the help and support of each other.

Hi Sheri, thanks for the response, thanks for the diet you posted, I have it saved and will try it out. Got on the scales yesterday and lost one more pound, thats a loss of 11 lbs in 15days all done healthy food preparation, and very little exercise until I can build myself up more inthe exercise dept I think I am doing pretty good so far. Thanks again, and good luck everyone. We all need to be here to encourage one another.

You are going **** for leather spears, way to go! I know what you mean about needing to build up to the exercise, I have a load of energy now and not a lot of stamina. Another 20 pounds should do it I hope so I can start working out in the new year.

Unhappy Oy! what a day!

Very difficult day 2. what started out as a great day of eating healthy, exercising turned into a bad episode for dinner. I think in retrospect, I just waited far too long to eat dinner then I snacked on a lil' of this and a lil' of that and ruined my good day. I just need to say that, put it out there. But tomorrow is another day and when you fall off a horse you have to get back on right?

bummed,

Don't worry hulagirl, we all stumble on occassion. The important thing is not to let it take you any further.

I like to keep things on hand I can snack on without too much trouble, grapes, pretzels, carrots and zuchinni ( i like to cook up a cup or two when I am really hungry between meals) dentyne fire gum, sometimes I go through 1 pack in an hour but it keeps me out of the kitchen and keeps my mouth busy.

I will also get on the phone if I am having a hard time and call every relative I can think of and sometimes a couple of hours can go by doin that.

Stay strong.

And with that thought I will be on my way to weigh in.
