Wow, Ellen, you ARE a runner now! You're also inspiring.

I had a great UBWO tonight, back to my pre-vacation weights on most things, and up some on a couple! Cardio was cut short due to hacking and hard to breathe. I am very tired of this whatever-it-is that I have! Grrrr.

But, a 3 day weekend can't be ignored - even if I just use it to recuperate.

Thanks LWL - your encouragement means a lot.

Just got back from this morning's long run (6 miles). Finished in 1:19:47, which is a 30 second improvement over last week. Guess I have a PR now Good news is I now know a 6 mile course from my house. That is pretty cool. I've talked up (chatted up?) a number of folks in my running group and we are going to do the same local races through the 10 Miler in Oct. I mayhave even talked a few into Las Vegas. They are working on me for Disney World, and it may actually be working I need to think some more on that one. HAve a great weekend ladies!

Great Job Ellen!!! And giggle all you want!

WaterRat, please get some rest and get rid of the cruddy cooties. That's a quick jump back into pre-vacation weights. Guess all that luggage hauling kept you in shape.

I'm back from the gym, did 30 on the elliptical and then got in a shoulder / back split. I feel like a wet noodle now. I am supposed to paint today so we will see how that goes. At any rate, its beautiful outside, kids are gone, work out is done, so I have the whole day to do what I wanna do! Oh yeah, I lost two of the the three pounds I gained being stupid last week-first of this week. Woo hoo!!!

Great picture, Tiki! I am so NOT flexible. One attempt at that would have had me face first.

Thanks a bunch! I had a GREAT chest / tri workout. I used the dip machine for the first time. Man that was hard. My tris were so whipped after that I was afraid to do skull crushers so I did another tri exercise instead. I left the gym and stopped by the high school for cardio on the track! I am loving our weather right now!

Hope everyone else is having a good relaxing Sunday afternoon. Be careful at all those backyard bar-b-cues!

Tiki.

Thanks, Tiki. I still have the crud. Am going to pick up yet some more drugs when I go grocery shopping. Hate to go to the doc as I'm 99% sure it's a virus and just needs to run its course. But it sure is kicking my a$$. :lol

And the dip machine does that to me too. I leave it for my last tricep exercise.

We have a barbeque to go to tonight, but nothing is tasting right to me (one advantage to a cold ) so I should have less trouble staying clean.
