I FINALLY broke the 172 lb mark. I weighed in at 171 lbs this morning. 2 more lbs to go and I will be out of the 170's.

I thought that I was doomed for a long time and then yesterday I started getting cravings for chocolate candy and cookies and I knew that wasn't good. I couldn't take it any longer, so I drove to the nearest dollar store and bought a $0.99 pack of 6 Reese's peanut butter cups and a $1.00 box of Butterfinger cookies and I devoured EVERYTHING. I felt good because I satisfied my cravings but was then scared because of what I knew the scale would say. To my surprise, this morning when I weighed, I had lost weight over the weekend. I was shocked!

Hahaha LAgreen - you never know whether the scale is going to mean business or not!! I've had the same experience before.

Today I hit 169, 32 pounds down. Getting close to my halfway mark of 35, and to the obese/overweight divide a couple of pounds after that. Feeling pretty motivated with all these milestones clustered together!

Wow, I haven't posted her in a while, but thought I would check in. After four months in the 170's I decided to take a break from the daily weighing in & logging my calories for a while, so I took about 7-10 days off. At the end of August & just got back on plan this week.

To my great surprise, I started back up right where I left off. Even though I felt like I was eating way more food & I was sure that I would gain back everything. So this week, I'm feeling way more motivated & hae been 100% on plan & so far have lost 3 pounds! Wow! I don't know if that time off was needed to reset my metabolism or what, but I don't think I've ever lost that much in a week before.

As of this morning I was at 170.4 & I'm hoping I can finally get out of the 170s next week.

Hope to see you all on the next thread soon.

Kim

Grats, that is awesome =)

I'm a little late to this thread so I'm close to the middle of the 170s. It is supposed to cool off a little here so hopefully I'll add some more walking to help finish them off.

I'll be the only one left in this thread soon.
