I am one of those people that never leaves the house without makeup and when I go out for a 'night on the town' I do the works! I have the skillz, if I do say so myself LOL.

DiorShow IS amazing. The first time I used it I was taken aback by the largeness of the brush. But after a few times using it, I got the hang of it and it just gives better results than any other mascara. I tried cheaper big brush mascaras but they don't work as well so it must be the formula as well. But it is so expensive that I usually only get it for special occasions. I throw out any mascaras I have past 3 months of age. Lately I've been using the Great Lash cheapy after intenstively curling my eye lashes because its a good 'extremely cheap' option...but can't compete with Dior.

Beauty mags always give Covergirl mascaras all kind of awards which makes me try them again and they ALWAYS SUCK! I don't understand how they win these awards other than the magazines that give them those rewards probably rely heavily on their advertizing dollars. Okay rant over. lol.

I spend too much on makeup so now I'm trying to focus on just using the stuff I already have.

I totally do this!! I could spend hours doing makeup!!! It's like therapy for me! I've been using makeup as my "prizes" for every lbs I lose, so 5lbs lost $5 something, if i lose 10 lbs then i can spend $10! haha it's lame but when I go to sephora and see products I get motivated!

Oh and I agree covergirl sucks!! I'm using Supercurl by Urban Decay (90% of my makeup is UD) but I'm trying to explore now! it works great by lengthening and separating but it's just not enough volume! Guess I'll need to lose a good 40lbs before I can buy Diorshow. You know everyone seems to love Great Lash but I just can't get it to work for me...still looking for that cheap but awesome mascara!

My holy grail mascara is L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black. I was recently watching a video on YouTube and learned Kim K's makeup artist Mario uses this on her! Its cheap and works great! I've tried others, both high & low end and love this one!
I also agree about YouTube. I am constantly watching makeup reviews & tutorials. My favorite gurus are Gossmakeupartist (the man is a makeup genius!) and Emilynoel.

Since I sell Avon, everything I use is Avon!

Really, though, I tried Beauti Control, because everyone I know loves it and it made my face BURN! L'Orael & Cover Girl make me itch.

My cleanser, however, is Clearisil Daily Face Wash. I used it in the 9th grade--when they first introduced it, and I use it now. It's the best.

This is not on daily basis but most of the time if I am meeting up with somebody or working.

Basics would be:

PRIMER - YSL Matte Touch Radiant Base (around the t-zone)
FOUNDATION - Chanel Perfection Lumiere (in 20 beige)
CONCEALER - MAC Studio Finish concealer (two colors for under eyes and highlights)
POWDER - Bobbi Brown pressed powder (in soft sand)
BLUSH - Chanel or MAC or Dior (various colors from pink to peach to orange-ish)
EYESHADOW - Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow (in beach bronze for most days)
MASCARA - Lancome Hypnôse Drama (I love love love it!)
LIPSTICK - Bobbi Brown creamy lipsticks or Lip Crayons, Chanel lipstick or lipgloss
LIPLINER - MAC, Bobbi Brown, Revlon, Japanese drugstore lipliners

I haven't had Avon products since my teenage days!
They used to sell good products, it is rare to find it here in Asia,
I remember we used to order it from a catalog.

OMG!! So I have had this question I've been meaning to ask someone who works for Avon for so long, and I keep forgetting to call my rep! My cousin in London uses this eyeliner called Avon supershock gel eyeliner it comes in a pencil form, not the pot but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the US!! Is it an Avon product only made in the UK??

i dont like the feeling of stuff on my face, not even lotion...it might be a sensory thing...i dont wear make up at all...ever...i have some concealer(?) not even sure that's what it's called, and i have eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick and powder...but i dont know what brands and i wear them so little that they are actually gathering dust in my bathroom...every once in awhile for a special occasion i will put some on but usually it bothers me enough that i will wash it off in the bathroom of wherever the event is at ....frankly i dont think i ever put on enough make up for it to make any difference in how i look anyhow lol

Sigh....I've been using Avon forever. I'm 36 (I know, not that old relatively speaking) and I remember when I was around 4 or 5; the "Avon lady" would drive around in the country and visit all the houses. It was always so exciting when she would come around and Granny would order the little fruit and candy flavored lip balms for us! I still love those--the smell of them takes me right back. . . .

I think you may be talking about this:

http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=42326

I've never tried it--I always use the Glimmersticks, but you can check out ingredients and reviews. Good luck!

The ONLY thing wrong with my Avon business is that I spend all my profit + some! I really do love the stuff!

If you have kids, you need to get some of the Naturals Kids line from your rep. My kids love it--I'm already getting THEM hooked on Avon! We use the soap/bubble bath and shampoo the most. Also, the spray detangler beats anything I've ever bought at Wal-mart or other--I use it on MY hair, which is very fine/thin and my 2-year-old DH's hair, which is thick, fine and curly. It's great.

You should ask me some time how I feel about Avon.

(Sorry to steal this thread--I'll back out now! )

literally, foundation+ a little powder + about 10 sec application of mascara. a little lip chap if im feeling chappy. hahaha

if its a FORMAL event i pencil my eyebrows, and do a tiny tiny dab of eyeliner on the outsides of my eyes to connect the last line, maybe a little actual gloss.

daily face: 10 mins or less.
really dressed up: 10-12 minutes.

ya, i'm easy haha
