Nancy, I think going on to the beach sounds awesome. You both would enjoy that. Have you thought about taking some kind of class? Maybe some kind of art/craft like pottery, knitting or painting? Also, does your community have a web site to find volunteer opportunities? In Nashville, we have a website that lists volunteer opportunities near your zip code. That might be something you would like. Hopefully you will find this time of life very rewarding. I know you will miss your sons, but this is YOUR time, so get out there and enjoy it

Nancy, I'm with Sloan. If you open yourself up to possibilities, they will likely come flowing your way. My recommendation is relax, take a deep breath, relish the fact that you have had such good relationships, then go spread joy. Sounds corny, but it's true. The world needs it, you'll enjoy it, and you'll find lots to do.

We are dressed and will be going to church service. There's a potluck afterwards but I don't know if we'll get to stay for it. All that might be too much on Curtis. And I didn't make anything to take.
