Hola.

Hello and Jen! So sorry your struggling, but you have come to the right place! These are kind and wonderful people.

Thanks lovingme4me. My DH calculated roughly how far it was I walked and it was about 1/2 mile! I know that I should do more, but not bad for my lunch! I figure at least any kind of movement or exercise is better than sitting and doing nothing, like I used too. So sorry about your loss. That is always really tough to deal with.

Big to all!

Lovingme4me, sorry to hear about your loss. Way to go on tracking your eating and learning from it. Journaling can be very eye opening. I'm guilty of not doing it very often.

JellybellyJen, you may want to try one of the Biggest Loser challenges whenever they start up again or check out the chicks up for a challenge threads.

Gotta run ladies.

Good morning everyone

Its another beautiful day here. Unfortunately there isn't any breeze so the bugs are rather nasty. Its suppose to get up to 26*C (79*F) looking forward to that as I lucked out when I called in to work and they said I don't have to come in today. Should run into town and visit my mom. She has been suffering with her gallbladder for the last week. She finally got in for an ultrasound yesterday and they want to remove it, but didn't have enough staff to do it last night, so we don't know when she'll get in. At least she was able to eat a sandwich last night, she went three days with nothing as even water caused her pain.

lovingme4me, so sorry for your loss. Congrats on the journaling tho, I've tried and haven't had much success.

I should get going.
Hope everyone is doing great and have a wonderful day!

Take care all
K

Heya jellybean - Congrats to your sis on her accomplisment. I'm about to head off to a friends' graduation party myself!

Last night I went on a cleaning spree. This morning I did laundry - even got to some old beach towels that had been in the bottom of my hamper for a while. When I took them out of the dryer, the lint catcher (and the dryer door!) were COVERED with my Miss Cleo's hair. It made me cry a bit - I miss her so, but I REALLY believe she is happier now, so they are ALMOST tears of joy. Almost.

Hugs to everyone

Hola.

Well another fun filled week at work. YAY. lol. I am soooooo tired. I didn't sleep well.

The cookout went well. (had it on Friday) The weather held out. It was cloudy at first then the sun broke through.

Amarie, I SO need to clean and de-fur my house. My 2 puppies are fur machines! I didn't get in any cleaning yesterday when I was off. I keep thinking however that my bedspread is too furry to lay anything on it then I remember that my cat is still lost so there is no fur there anymore.

Yesterday I went to a pampered chef party and spent too much $$ but it was fun. After that I went to the grocery store and made 155 meatballs for a potluck that is tomorrow. I knew after getting off at 8pm tonight I wouldn't feel like doing it.

Gotta run...

I am feeling really really bummed out right now. I'm so stressed with school and money concerns. My sleep schedule is off. My husband is injured. Also, I gained 20 pounds in the past year. And to top it all off, I just feel like I have no friends. Blah. Just needed to get that off my chest.

Hope -- Big so sorry you haven't found your kitty yet. Have you asked your neighbors, put up signs, put an ad in the paper? Just trying to think. I know it is difficult wondering where they are, etc. Pampered chef is cool. Meatballs......mmmm yummy.

Kittenpants -- Hi and to our thread. Sorry you are feeling bummed. It is very difficult with money problems and your husband being injured. But you came to the right place. Feel free to get whatever you need off of your chest.

Heya all -

Hopey - lol defurr the house indeed. I know exactly what you mean - my beadspread is the same way. I take clean laundry in to put away, and don't feel like I have a place to set it! I am sorry about your cat, love.

Kittenpants - hi and Welcome. It does all seem to come in waves doesn't it? Sorry you are feeling in such a tight spot right now, and if you are looking for a good group of forum friends who you can get things off your chest to and know they will care, you've come to the right place!

Everyone else - I gotta run, so much to do today. I'm going to be house-sitting for a couple weeks starting today, and I don't even know if there's internet there. I might be awol again for a bit.

Take Care,
A
