Welcome me4life!

I ran 5.15 today. I'm not racking up the same amount of mileage this month because I'm spending more time on the bike and in the pool. The cross training is awesome, but it's definitely not going to be a 100 mile running month!

June challenge miles so far: 33.91

Well I am a little late to this forum, but I figured I'd throw my towel in What can it hurt?

As of June 13th, 9 Miles (adding 5 more on today).

It's a slow walk/jog pace, but up up and away!

Hey Josephine, you'll still get mile in this month, not just running miles

Welcome Petite! No worries on how fast you get your miles in, just that you are getting them in is a great accomplishment!

5.05 in today......wasn't going to run today, but wasn't able to make it to my kick boxing class this morning

48.25/100

Only got 2 miles in yesterday (due to very nasty storms) so that brings my total up to 11 miles.

Now today with blue skys I'm heading for my normal route. 5 Miles! Rawr.

Today's my day off, but yesterday I logged in 6.05 miles (not including all the walking I did while shopping yesterday!) 54.3/100 for the month.

I haven't really been around the last few days. I have been in a lot of pain and I don't really feel like chit chat when this kind of pain hits. I am doing much better. Today I am just taking it easy and trying to get house work done. I have been doing my exercising but I am not counting it to wards any goals because I have because I haven't been putting my all into it. Figured moving the body was better than not moving at all. Hopefully I will be all caught up tonight with housework and laundry and start the week fresh tomorrow with exercise. Haven't had to worry about eating to much because I don't feel like eating at all lol. Good news is the lungs are doing pretty good so I am off the dreaded Prednisone. Haven't taken the pain mead Percoset all day so hopefully tomorrow my head will be clear lol.

I'm sorry you've been in so much pain, that's terrible. Amazing that you even continued to exercise while feeling that way, I personally think those miles COUNT!

Walked the Relay for Life on Friday, which was about 2 miles, then took the entire weekend off !!! Started back in this AM with 2 miles, so I'm up to 50/100 for June. Gotta keep on track to make up for my vacation from walking.

Default 16 Miles And Counting

Up to 16 Miles (added 5 on yesterday), but I managed on gaining a pound I'm no where near my period either. *sigh* Then again I had a drink with my husband last night and wasn't very good with the fathers day weekend stuff. (Probably ate to much).

About the pain issue Shy. I completely understand (though it sounds like your situation is a bit more serious than what I've gone through I at least empathize). When I first started walking (and eventually into jogging, now back into walking) my shins, my knees, my back, my boobs, even my hands hurt from the swelling of long walks.

I applaud you for working through it. Our bodies are so often angry with us for either A) doing too much or B) doing too little. But in the long run you'll be able to pull through this. I promise you that the pain will go away.
