Sweet, well, I just started on the 9th. I did something like a mile and a half. I know I did a mile, but on my second walk I forgot to put my pedometer on..so I'm not sure. But just so I don't over credit myself I'll say it was a half mile on the second walk. On the 10th I did 2 miles according to my pedometer 7,000 steps is 2 miles..so. I've done 3 1/2 miles in two days and I hope to gradually do more as time goes on. Wish me luck, I'm not good with motivation and I've never worked out a day in my life. It should be interesting.

Anyway, to log...3 1/2 miles. update tomorrow.

Add 4 more miles, so I'm at 38/100. Right on track!

delsey - If you're walking outside and forget your pedometer, try using gmaps to clock your distance. It takes a second or two to figure out how to use it, but look at the directions and it's not bad (I tried to just play around and figure it out and was woefully unsuccessful - instructions are a wonderful thing!). 3.6 today. That makes 37.2/100.

delsey-You're doing great. It takes a while to build up the endurance to walk those miles. The fact that you have started is all that counts!

musictchr-thanks for that link!!

Welcome me4life,
I did 5.5 yesterday, up to 42/75.
Aiming for 6er tomorrow. I have worn a heart rate monitor/timer once and then ran w/o the next day. I'm thinking it may help me reduce my walking breaks and slow down times. Will use it tomorrow and report back..

Add 4 more since yesterday AM, so I'm up to 46/100. Walking the Relay for Life tonight, so I'll probably add at least another 2 later.
